What MrX said. Contact the producers you're interested in, mention what you have in mind and go from there. After that, you go with the producer who appears to offer the best quote along with feasibility of it getting done to your taste/requests.

Whenever I've done a custom or commission for someone, the back-and-forth has come down to the minute details, just to be sure everything is understood going into the shoot, along with contingency plans in case of a need for a Plan B (or Plan C or even Plan D). After that, it's a matter of the price...
