Watched the first 4 episodes of this 8 episode mini-series.
This is a show about one of the biggest crimes of the last decades. Maybe the biggest one.
A series on how a company managed to turn millions of Americans into drug addicts (and thereby killing thousands).
There are so many scenes where I could just throw something at my TV while watching this show. In comparison to these pharma criminals/murderers in this case, guys like Pablo Escobar now seem like a small henchmen in comparison.
The main role is played by Michael "The Batman" Keaton!
His performance alone is already great, but this show works just perfectly...and it has a score of 8.7 on IMDB....if that counts for you.
The show is working at different time levels, but it manages it well as there is always a note on the screen.
Certainly this is no show you should watch while browsing on your damn phone (nearly no show deserves that).
So, this topic is about the TV show, let's NOT turn into something else....that tends to happen here "sometimes".
