C4S just obliterated a bunch of categories without any notice, including "Limp Fetish", "Damsel in Distress", "Resting Fetish". These are all overlapping categories with superheroine genre clips (virtually identical subject matter, minus the costumes).

Anybody know why they did this? Did any producers get an advance warning? Are there any new unofficial categories being circulated to find this stuff? I'm legitimately worried about a lot of my favorite producers going out of business if the largest platform is literally obstructing customers from finding and purchasing their clips. If they're coming for these categories, superheroine stuff can't be far behind.

Perhaps this is a reaction to the recent pornhub stuff. Either they are pressured directly by Mastercard/Visa etc, or they anticipate it. Perhaps they fear having such videos might be misinterpreted/misrepresented as permitting or endorsing content made using genuinely asleep persons without their legal permission. Perhaps when those with power come knocking, and ask what they're done to prevent such content from appearing on their "platform", they want something to point to.

I saw that, and good for her in trying to recategorize her content so people are still able to find it. But she's one producer out of hundreds who woke up yesterday morning to the reality that, overnight, nobody can find and buy their content.

For me personally, it just means I won't shop at C4S. If they're going to be this dismissive of the content I like, I'll shop elsewhere. But it sucks for producers like Anastasia, who are going to get punished for company policies they had no say in.

Where will you go?

C4S isn't doing this to stick it to your fetish, they're doing it because they think it's necessary for economic survival of their fetish platform.

Why aren't you saying you'll stop using Visa and Mastercard?

They aren't being dismissive. They are avoiding a shut down. He's supposedly on thin ice as it is and just hasn't been nailed yet. Space Babe Central got their visa account shut down a few months back and that put them into bankruptcy. Notice there is no "chloroform" tag anymore at C4S. That got pulled a while ago.

Its thin thin ice. Visa does this now and again. My older visa account got destroyed due to Visa getting all righteous. You might see C4S go poof at some point.

Also the section called "Peril" was taken down as well as "forced orgasms"

If you understand the current partnership between pornhub (mindgeek) and clips4sale you would understand why this is a proactive measure.
I myself am not being dismissive as the latest categories to be zapped has seriously hit me where 75% of my sales come from but i would rather move to another category than to have the entire site gone forever.

Thankfully there is still a super heroines section.

All sleepy that was on Damsels in Distress will now be on the category "Hand over Mouth"
all forced orgasms will be under "orgasm control"

Im sure other producers will follow the lead of Anastasia and post a message saying where all content can be found

Something happened. Last time Visa went this holier than thou someone had murdered a young girl claiming to have mimicked a snuff video he saw on a website and the uproar that followed caused Visa to shut down a lot of porn site providers.

Could also be related to Biden winning as well.

This is what happened. Before , when Pornhub and Spankbang and Xhamster and all those other sites were just tube sites, Visa/MC didn't care since they weren't actually processing transactions.
But then those sites decided they were going to get into the billing game and to be honest, I don't know how they got around the scanning. When you apply for a billing account, your site gets scanned for anything that might be a BRAM violation or basically anything that's on their no/no list. Anything that is deemed non-consensual is a definite red flag.

Well, however they got around it, I am sure everyone was very happy with the money rolling in until it became obvious that PornHub was hosting some illegal videos. So PH gets outed, they bring down a lot of heat on themselves and other sites are pretty experienced with this type of operation so they start purging their listings that do not meet Visa/MC standards.
They may have also received notices from Visa/MC but the end result is the same. There's going to be a LOT of tightening up across the board on all major sites.

I am fairly positive that sites like Brazzers,Naughty America etc don't get involved in the sleepy/KO/Hypno game so they probably don't have much to worry about.

I got struck by Clips4Sale years ago for having the world Hypnotic in my store title. Such is life. You deal with it and move on.
I have a feeling PH could survive this because they are being very co-operative. It remains to be seen what really happens..

The payment processing review of PornHub was probably done at a time when there wasn't much objectionable content uploaded yet.

Google "mindgeek" the parent owner of pornhub and a few dozen other sites and give a close read to their history.
it will become very obvious how they managed to get away as long as they did.
Parent companies, holding companies, etc

Back when we first started we got a merchant account with Chase.
I set up a dummy parent company that sold "web design"
I then created a separate company that used the credit card processor and then started a third company that actually sold the videos
(which at that point were running through two other companies.
Chase never ever found out and I managed to use a credit card processor not geared toward adult transactions.

Now I am by no means a smart man so If I could figure this out Im sure Mindgeek came up with a far smarter more complex method.
But yeah.
Read the wiki on mindgeek and things become clear

I did that as well but the bank finally caught up with me. The banks will gladly sell you a merchant account, let you build up escrow then claim you're doing adult material, when you were flat honest with them about it, and then seize all the money.

C4S isn't doing this to stick it to your fetish, they're doing it because they think it's necessary for economic survival of their fetish platform.

Why aren't you saying you'll stop using Visa and Mastercard?
Because, like 99% of the people who use C4S, I'm completely oblivious to the behind-the-scenes power dynamics of digital clip distribution services and credit card companies. If I saw proof that Visa was being "holier than thou" and getting porn sites I frequent shut down, then I would absolutely switch to MasterCard, and if a rep asked me why I'd tell them. How are we expected to know this? If Home Depot won't sell me a hammer, it wouldn't occur to me they were getting pressure from a secretive nail lobby.

I'd be more eager to champion C4S's crappy situation here if they were willing to be at least partially transparent about it. Most of us are just casual consumers -- if you hadn't given me a peek behind the curtain about the puritanical demands of credit card companies, I would never have known. If they're being strong-armed into banning certain fetishes, there's a way to communicate that, one would think, without angering Visa. Hell, even just announcing "We're doing this" would be a bummer, but at least it'd be a solid answer. When I wrote asking about it, I got a pat "We are aware of the issues. Sorry for the inconvenience." That makes it sound like a technical issue they were working to fix.

The clear link here is that all those categories strongly imply rape or force or an unwilling participant. Limp, forced, distress, etc.

As long as there's demand, there'll always be supply. So, for those who relied heavily on C4S to buy Limp, Resting and DID videos, where can we get them now?
