Forum Dark Theme and Laptop Fan

The forum dark theme makes my laptop fan rev up and get noisy, within a minute or two. Gonna guess it's the dots & lines moving graphic top of page script.
The 'prosilver' option doesn't do that, fan silent. So a 'dark theme' option without that motion graphic thing would be welcome.
