Supergirl V? Did I miss parts I through IV? Oh no! How do I get to see those first. I don't like to see these things out of order, since that's... hey, wait! Did I misread that? Is that actually Supergirl vs The Fugitive Witch of Daxam? I'd add that extra "S" if I were thou, AEM.

With that said, however, I'm sure this will be a smash hit. You're earlier stuff was fantastic!

Hehehehe, yes, I guess you could read it as 5 too. That centered V looks cool though and you stick a little s on the there and it sux! I figured that is what the folks over at DC thought when they did Batman V Superman, it's just a V and is on the posters, the DVDs etc etc etc!! That's the last time I stick your name in a nice spot on my poster and you don't get your own trailer on the lot!

Hi all - I thought I would get the ball rolling then and put up this first little part of the substantially reworked movie! This project has taken MANY man hours to make and I would like to thank DrDominator9 for his input into it. Unlike my other work which is mostly single scene stuff this in comparison is "movie length". You are not going to get instant peril but it IS in there and I hope you come along for the journey to see what happens to our heroine. There is currently an issue with the forum image viewer which is going to be fixed shortly and I will update the story once the fix is done

The frames are best seen in full screen as a slideshow, not flat on the page as they are now.

But ... what is in update 2? Well ... Jor-El is presiding over the judgement of someone, it seems!!

Hehe, well, I did warn you all this was going to be movie length and with a story, unlike some of my other stuff which can be more of an instant peril fix. We are only 10% of the way into the story but already there is the threat of a forced arranged marriage, now that Jor-El's scheme to have Kara innocently help her cousin has been uncovered ...

I suppose with such a well known movie you'll know every scene and be mentally tallying them off as they appear. You might even be waiting for one scene or another in particular - so, you know you cant get them all, all at once, but I hope what I have done will still be able to take you by surprise, now n then! If we don't get every single scene, we'll be horribly disappointed, AEM. Each scene in the movie was a gem on its own and deserves your unique perspective and skill. So, yes? Do that or why bother!

Hi all, welcome to the Wednesday update!

In previous episodes we saw that Selena's magic orb warned her that a Krytponian was nearby. To evade detection Selena chose to avoid using magic and had to recall her magical pet that skulks invisibly within Midvale. The creature seemingly consumes negative feelings and ill will, giving it a demonic appearance whilst also somehow creating a sense of well being in the town. Now, after Supergirl serving out her detention earned earlier in the day she resumes the hunt for the witch once more and detects the ponderous pet on its return to its mistress!! ...And now, we continue!

Just read your story so far and I am hooked. Can't see what the future holds for the girl of steel.
I hope I don't tread on any toes with my story- but I think they are heading in very different directions. I came up with my basic plot back in Jan but if I do accidentally have some similarities it wasn't intentional.

Keep cooking up that brilliant story dude.

Hi dude - first off I am so glad you like the story, and if anything it was me who was worried about treading on your toes. I am sure even though we will inevitably have some similarities in our stories, just because the images lead us that way, we will have enough variation to offer something unique! And I have to say, it was because of your efforts in your other threads that I realised that there might be a story for me to remake out of the movie - so thank you for that. In fact, I don't know if you saw, at the start of the thread is a "Movie Poster" type thing ... and your name is on it near the bottom - I hope that's okay!

And I am so glad this movie is getting new life injected into it and there are so many places you can take it. I'll never get sick of looking at Helen so I'm really enjoying this resurgence- hopefully more people start working on things.

The look on Helen’s face as she gets up has always been a fav. And props on the effects - you did a great job with the gas.

Not entirely sold on the heat vision. Not sure, makes her look kinda godlike, in an old movie kinda way. I know, this is an old movie but like really cheesy old movie.

Gotta say that I love the concept you came up with in this sequence of the monster's negative energy blast, making Supergirl feel so empty and lost; not to mention the visuals matching the dialogue to perfection. Great job, AEM!

Welcome! Wednesday is upon us once more and it is time for the midweek update

In her search for the fugitive witch, Kara Zor-El the aspiring Luminous-to-be has begun to blend in with the human populace. Her first step was to enroll at a prestigious school where she would masquerade as a student by day. By night she began her intensive search of the witch who she had detected nearby. Unfortunately the witch has taken steps to prevent being found but not before Kara had come across her pet monster first! The battle resulted in a tie, Kara left exhausted and the monster driven off into the distance. But ... that was not all that happened that night, Kara discovering that her body was affected more than just the normal solar empowerment she had been trained for! But what has fate conspired to have happen next? Let's see!!

- I played around with the movie scene sequencing a lot and in my mind I had a few ways I might spin this scene to suit my needs. In one iteration this movie scene would have come much later in my story and the dialogue would have had a significantly different direction to it. Fortunately @Tallyho saved my bacon, I could use this scene as it is now and still have something else later in the story.

For now though poor Kara is left to puzzle over her physical and psychological responses to the likes of the teacher giving her detention and the drunk dorm warden. How sensitive these Kryptonians are to alien suns!

Now, after a day of classes and hockey the Kryptonian's alter ego, Linda Lee, relaxes with Lucy and her friends at the Dorm. Selena, knowing her hunter is temporarily out of the picture pushes on with her own plans...

Playing catch up: love what you’re doing. The fight scene in particular was a standout, but even when the story shifts to other characters…well, it’s still better than the ’84 movie.

Looking forward to your take on all the great scenes to come. The presentation, thus far, has been excellent. Keep going.
