It is said that every superheroine or villain must have an origin story and that's precisely what this fetish vid is. I purchased this vid based on a recommendation from a friend who had some custom work done at Torvea Films and they told me to give the 'Birth of Supergirl' a try and while it's not really heavy on any kind of sexual content (other than the fetish model being nude in the first ten minutes which is a plus in my opinion), it was a very creative fetish story that Scott Torvea put together.
I've been a big fan of Savannah Costello over the years after seeing some her performances at Heroine Nylon Universe. She is truly a talented and lovely blonde fetish performer and this fetish vid is solid proof of that fact. Savannah has no other co-stars in this vid, it's just her holding down the fort on her own in every scene that she's in. While solo acts aren't really my thing, Savannah shows that she can do 'good' all by herself in this vid and I was truly impressed.

Pros
-The script was short, sweet and simple. An origin story where Claire Kent becomes the lovely 'lady of steel!'
-Excellent cinematography and great visual sets. Claire's bedroom, her walk up North on the highway by herself and the palace where she learns the secrets about her life were all excellent filming locations.
-Great wardrobe, though Savannah does spend the first ten minutes of the story in the nude, which was an A+ in my opinion she gets to wear casual clothing and then later dons her Supergirl outfit.

-Great camera angles and excellent editing for this vid.
-Fabulous audio qualities also and you can hear Savannah's voice when she speaks as well as the voice of her mother, who speaks to her also later.
Diagnosis (What could've been better)
I'm gonna skip right to the diagnosis for this and tell what cons could be improved upon:
-A little more showcase of Savannah's abilities would've been great but she'd have to use them accidentally. Like, she stares really hard and her heat vision activates or she blows really hard and her breath freezes something. Or she feels super strong and is able to lift something with just one hand. Anytime a 'supers' abilities are about to come to light, it works better if that display of power is shown...by accident to let the audience know what's about to happen.
-Would've loved to see Supergirl test out her new abilities fighting crime or saving someone from danger.
-The part where Savannah is in the palace to discover her abilities...the flashing in the room was a nice touch, but a bit too much. I started getting dizzy from the bright light flashes and it's a miracle that Savannah didn't get vertigo from those flashes either.
-Savannah should've interacted with the voice that was speaking to her in the hidden palace. It looks kind of odd for her to stand there and listen to the voice without speaking to it.
Final Outcome
All in all, the Birth of Supergirl was a very creative story from Torvea Films and it's a shame that we don't see more material like this from other producers. I mean, superheroines have to have an origin story and what better way to introduce a character than to show how they came into possession of the magnificent abilities that they possess. Either though an accident, being born with them or just training hard like Batman to obtain peak physical condition, a crusader's humble beginnings can always make for a fantastic story.
Final Outcome for 'Birth of Supergirl': 9 1/2 out of 10.
