So pretty much everyone has been Superwoman.
There's the evil sadistic Earth-3 Superwoman (part of the Crime Syndicate) who is just this sexy dominatrix type. She's been around for a while. Hard to get enough of her really!

More recently in the pages of Supergirl there was Lucy Lane as Superwoman in the magical construct costume, desperately trying to prove herself to her general dad. Kind of pathetic, really. She died, unfortunately.

But now DC has got what everyone's looking for: both Lois Lane and Lana Lang as Superwoman! The first issue of Superwoman (the first comic to be ever titled as such) just came out. Y'see the key to the back story is that when Superman died (imploded), bolts of power emerged and struck three people: Lois, Lana and an unknown person (who isn't shown in the panel). Hence, they now have powers.

Won't spoil anything for you - just print the cover and you can make up your own mind. Who are all those people on the cover? (especially the black and Asian heroines?) Guess I'll find out.

What an excellent transformation for Lana!

But hey, if you're just looking for the new regular Lois Lane...better look to China! That's the setting in New Super-Man, for the debut of Chinese Superman Kong Kenan, and his new crush, young TV reporter Laney Lan. She's a cutie media-savvy millennial. He's a high school boy who's totally full of himself. Like to see how they develop these characters..it's written by a Chinese artist.

There are two further issues of the Rebirth Superwoman (starring Lana Lang as the sexy crackling heroine who turns the sun's energy and radiation into blasts she can project...can't wait for the hot cosplays and the porn parodies!) that have come out. It also features the re-appearance of Lena Luthor as Ultrawoman (who is backed by an army of Bizarro Crime Syndicate Ultrawomen) attempting to get revenge for her treatment at the hands of her brother, Lex. Worth taking a look.

Natasha Irons is also in the book. She doesn't look hot at all (she is maybe the DC equivalent of Riri Williams). But she does apparently very subtly come out as lesbian or bisexual (if you blink you miss it). So here it is for posterity.

And John Irons (Steel) is Lana's hunky boyfriend. Of course when you have two black heroes in a comicbook you have to include PC political statements about how horrible and profit-oriented the prison systems are. But the preachiness doesn't last long, and Lana is hella cute though.

Mad props to amazing comic book artist Emanuela Lupacchino - she made the Starfire series look hott and now she's not only on Superwoman but also on Green Lanterns Rebirth, drawing the gorgeous Hispanic Green Lantern Jessica Cruz. Earlier this year, Lupacchino drew a series of cover variants for various Marvel titles called "Women of Power", during which she even made Kamala Khan look sexy (yes, it can be done!). Total proof that there's no reason an influx of female artists (and writers) has to fuck up the beauty quotient in comics (attn: the "SJWs" on this board).

Here's Emanuela's fan Facebook page in case you want to visit here sometime at a convention:

Apparently sexy heroine pinups are OK as long as the heroine is fully clothed and there are no panties showing. Viva Emanuela!

I'll surely buy the first Superwoman tpb whenever it comes out.
