Anyone else getting Logan's "last chance" emails?

I don't mean to be overly critical, but for the past few months I've been receiving emails from Logan Tyler about last chances to buy videos, but then having many more chances to buy them with new going out of business/site shutting down sales. I bought a few videos four months ago when he initially posted the site shutting down/last chance deal. Since then I have received almost weekly "site shutting down for good" email pitches. Anyone else getting these? I find it's becoming irritating as all those emails seem like a disingenuous attempt to get someone to buy something they wouldn't by making it seem as though if they don't buy now on impulse, they will never have that chance again (duh, right?). I have supported Logan buy buying some of his videos, and I haven't been disappointed. I just think this ongoing last chance sale that has lasted over four months is a bit much, and I'm curious if others have had similar emails or thoughts about this.

Yeah.... he's been sending "SITE CLOSING OMG GET VIDEOS ASAP!" "SITE CLOSING TOMORROW" etc emails for months. I was gone for the weekend and didn't check email until yesterday and got like 4 videos from him linking to videos of specific actresses. Obviously he's no idiot, annoying yes but not an idiot. He realizes each email he pushes out will convert an x% of sales, it's no different than the old threads he would post here asking what we wanted to see in videos over and over again basically driving attention to his sites.

He'll literally say the site is shutting down tomorrow, and then a week later I check the site and it's still up with the stupidly misleading banner saying it's shutting down a week prior.

Didn't get one email, and bought a lot of his videos in the closing down sales. I don't know whether to be happy for not receiving spam, or to feel sad that he didn't think i was a loyal enough customer to email. I haven't bought any in this sale, though I have bought extensively off him in the past, though I'd be pretty pissed if I had believed the LAST call to buy only to find I actually had another 8 chances when it's getting even cheaper.

You're missing the point. The issue isn't about unsubscribing, the issue is being told something that is apparently false in order to convince me through that falsehood to spend money I would not have spent if I knew I did not have to purchase the video within 48 hours. Why would I unsubscribe when I like the videos being made? How would I know I would be lied to? Sure, I can unsubscribe now, but it's too late to have avoided being lied to.
Advertising using falsehoods is unscrupulous and annoys me as I purchased something that I would have wanted to buy later but had to move those videos up my "to-buy" queue because I had apparently only 48 hours to buy them. Consequently, I had to wait for the other videos I had planned on buying that were released a few days later. That manipulation bothers me to the point of not buying any more Logan videos because he treats me--and apparently others--like suckers.

I've been aware of Logan since he first showed up as an actor for TBFE. If There's one person in the world that he resembles, it would have to be Donald Trump. Both are textbook narcissists. They have a pathological need for praise and approval, lack the capacity for empathy and cannot resist attacking anyone who they feel has crossed them. Me too Viking. I even wrote him and suggested it to him. It seems like a no-brainer. But this is well before I knew all these people's issues with him. He was always perfectly nice and professional with me the handful of times I had message interactions with him, so I have nothing against him personally. But I did feel the pressure to buy (I bought every one of his last Cherie Deville releases except Hoisted and Humiliated and Pleasure and Pain), and now I see there was really no pressure. First off. Did anyone read the back and forth thread on the other forum awhile back. If you missed it, there was a lot of great juicy details on our friend, Mr. Logan. Having conducted my own search for info I discovered other crazy details about our friend but wont share here. Word I got was that his NightShadow project was suppose to be filming in Texas next month. A blogger wrote that Logan has no talent for writing, directing, or acting and that he is just no good. To be honest when I campaigned for his NightShadow project I kinda had in the back of my mind that he would actually pull something together, you know casting the likes of Scott Adkins for fights and a beautiful but talented unknown actress. But as I come to the realization all we will most likely get is a longer version of one of his heroine projects. If we get one at all. I mean where did all that cash for the project go. I know that his company was facing several lawsuits. I contacted Kickstarter to inquire about this and have yet to receive a response, maybe there looking into it as well. You know one reason that guy was so good at what he did is that he was willing to put almost anything on screen for a price with a beautiful lady. I mean within reason and maybe some borderline snuff stuff, he was willing to shoot and put it on screen if someone was willing to pay to see it. I'm not sure if you can but I will call him one of the biggest con artists of this genre. I'm not sure what his future goals are. I know he has a gym membership, a new car, and makes trips to vegas. How that all fits into his supposed NightShadow venture is anyones guess.

As for his 100th goodbye, eventually when his sales for his x-rated films come to a halt I guess he will finally pull the plug once and for all but until then, he'll just keep making revenue off it.

The closing down emails were an obvious way to pressure/manipulate people into panic buying his videos. Even before Logan started spamming emails there were multiple posts and threads on other forums announcing various "closing down" dates months ago. Each excuse for the site staying up got more ridiculous along the lines of "i'm out of town for the weekend so you have 2 more days to buy!" to "technical reasons". Months later the sites are still up.

The same with the kickstarter, one of the perks was a package of like 69 retired videos, weeks later "we've brought back these retired videos due to high demand" with the same package available to anyone.

I don't have any issue with him making money, spamming emails, or his reasons for keeping the site up. Just don't BS people over and over again. Don't tell people there's a final sale, and then hold a bigger sale the following week. Don't tell people they have a week left to buy something, when they still have months and months of opportunites.

I too doubt there's going to be a 100mil movie or even a 1mil movie, maybe there'll be a 100k movie ($43k of it will go to costumes?), but as to the kickstarter, backers who chose pledge rewards from $25 on up are supposed to get a download of NIghtshitblow movie when it releases (supposedly sometime june or july 2017), so kickstarter rewards aren't fulfilled if Blowgan doesn't make the movie and thus doesn't provide a download link for movie for those backers. (Really he should just give everyone back their money now!)

I agree that Logan will probably make something called Nightshadow for under a million. It just seems really seedy that he announced a $100,000,000 budget while the Kickstarter campaign was offering packages with an "Executive Producer" credit. A few hundred bucks for a vanity credit on a blockbuster seems like amazingly good value for money. Just imagine having your name on the credits of a movie with twice the budget of Deadpool.

Even if Logan could somehow make a $100,000,000 indie movie, how exactly is he planning to raise the further $50,000,000+ required to market such a film? Blumhouse, for example, sells the distribution rights to ready-made movies to the studios, who then pay for the marketing. But those are low-budget Horror movies, not mega-budget superhero blockbusters! Is Logan planning to contact one of the major studios and ask them to handle a movie from an indie studio with no track record and release it theatrically sometime in 2017 in-between all these movies?:

Nightshadow, however, has just had news coverage on TV stations local to Kilgore and a few websites have done a copy-and-paste job from the Kickstarter material. A $100,000,000 movie would have generated some serious "buzz" by now.

Even the secret casting of an "A-lister" would be leaked in rumors as a buzz-generator. The mere suggestion that someone of the caliber of Jennifer Lawrence or Emily Blunt is "in talks" for a new superhero movie would be big news. Yet everything we're hearing on this mystery "A-lister" comes from one person.

I suspect "A-lister" really means someone who was in some hit movies in the 2000s or maybe even the 1990s. The American Beauty stars Thora Birch and Mena Suvari would probably do an indie movie like this for a fraction of the fees they could once demand.

The trailer for Legend of the Bull certainly looks like a twenty grand movie. Also, with the exception of Kristina Hess who's playing it fairly straight, most of the actors are doing a type of exaggerated gurning comedy that simply doesn't get made for adults anymore. Even the most puerile Adam Sandler and Farrelly Brothers movies usually have some small degree of realism in the performances. Even atrocities such as Paul Blart: Mall Cop and the Three Stooges remake have most of the supporting characters playing it straight in reaction to the protagonists' slapstick antics. This is literally a bunch of grown adults doing silly voices and pulling goofy faces.

WTF is the deal with that mute redhead woman? is she supposed to be pulling those strange expressions? That part is just disturbing.

Seeing as most of the cast seem to be acting in that exaggerated style, I can only conclude that Logan directed them to do that deliberately. Honestly, it's like something made for the Disney Channel. (Aside from the adult references, obviously.) I'm not sure who the audience is supposed to be?

In Logan's mind, I'm sure the BMW seems like a legitimate way to present the image of success to potential investors.

Without going too far into politics, America has a presidential candidate whose entire image is based on convincing people he's rich while concealing a long history of creative accountancy to avoid paying creditors and avoid paying taxes. Logan is doing the exact same thing; using people's hard-earned cash to sustain the illusion of a major player while pleading poverty when it comes to the awkward question of delivering on promises.

The email from the Nigerian Prince who wants to pay me a fortune for helping him move money around - after I've paid a low, low administration charge - is more convincing than Logan needing a few bucks until his multi-millionaire investors come through.

Yeah, that's exactly how major Hollywood players get by while they're waiting for funding, Logan. Marvel's Kevin Feige tried to get me to buy a $1,000 water filter yesterday. The day before that, DC's Geoff Johns wanted me to join a pyramid scheme and recruit six more recruiters. Apparently, his wage from an unsustainable level of recruitment is double what he gets from DC.

Hi Everyone, I am writing this today because I want you to all know the truth. I am a former superheroine from Logan Cross' franchise. Every singe person on this forum knows who I am, I guarantee it. Logan Cross is a scam artist. He is an awful person and an awful filmmaker. I'm not saying this for any sort of redemption or pay back. I'm saying it so that our fans (who all of the actresses love so much) stop throwing their money into Logan's wallet. Logan does not and will never have a 10 million dollar film. He is a joke to all filmmakers in Los Angeles. Do not let him tell you otherwise. No one knows who he is and the very few people who do know that he has a TERRIBLE reputation. What happened to the money you put into Nightshadow? He bought a new BMW. Check his Facebook account (May 11th- https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... =3&theater ). PLEASE think twice before putting any trust into this man. He is a criminal. There is a reason why every single actress left his project. Most of us still haven't been paid for a good amount of our work. We love our fans and we don't want them to continue supporting a company and a man that is corrupt. I'm writing this with all of your best interests in mind.

Anyway, yep, all that rings true. (except maybe the awful filmmaker part, he's OK, not great, maybe a mixed bag, while Legend of the Bull teaser is awful, some of the superheroine stunt fighting stuff is decent.) But yes, awful person, scam artist, pathological liar, full of it, etc.

Gotta wonder if it's due to your post that he blocked his facebook page so the car photo you linked to no longer shows. Seems likely. Guess he doesn't want the people he scammed at kickstarter to see it. Oh well. That's the way it goes.

Reading all this fella and seeing that photo..really makes me sick to my stomach. But sadly, it really doesn't surprise me anymore that there are really bad corrupted people out there that would take advantage of a fan base, steal/rob their money (which was suppose to go for a superheroine film and instead the money is used for his own pleasure/needs aka a New BMW.

I for one am disgusted by this fella's action as I know many of you folks are. It puts a blackeye on the genre and etc. he is a bad person and a scam artist..but you know what...Life works in mysterious ways and he will get what is coming to him for what he did and has done. In the meantime, we now know the truth and we now know his real true colors.

Strange you should say that. That Kickstarter update from a couple of weeks ago (posted by theScribbler above) looked like the sort of video a cult leader makes before poisoning his followers. And no, "cult" wasn't a typo.

Associates of Logan better not accept any Kool-Aid or applesauce. in fact, they should probably bring their own food and drink and never leave it unattended.

Yeah he has appeared in quite a few videos on his PG site and also the XXX site. He did a few that used a dildo or implied sex but with Cherie Deville he also did full-on penetration scenes. I get his explanation why he's going to eventually finally for real take down the PG site because he's re-using characters and whatnot, but he took down the XXX site definitely to not make it easy for people/"investors" find out about his porno past.
