What’s your preference for a good beatdown, and why?

When the villain overpowers the superheroine from the start and keeps beating her up, or when the villain cheats or has some equipment at hand?

I prefer the latter, makes the heroine seem more competent and believable if the enemy has to fight dirty to win.

its more expected for the baddie to fight dirty, and I agree that it makes it more believable

I prefer the bad guy to use a dirty trick, or the heroine to make a foolish mistake, causing her to lose the fight.

I liked the Joan Severance Scorpion movie where she is cocky and tries to beat some Aerobics girls and gets beaten up and crashed on a glass case.

Yeah, that was a good movie. I loved her characters/costume.

Depends on the scenario. If the villain is a normie then cheat code works better. Even if that means the villain taking some power enhancement.

However if the villain has super powers, like Zod, then straight up beat down works.
