Part of the set up is the heroines distract the villainesses by letting them defeat them and have their ways with them to eat up the time they are transformed. The story plays with flipping that power dynamic to their personal lives where the submission is not just a sneaky way to have power but the heroine's alter-egos sincere want to be sexually dominated. There IS a big bad they her characters will have to "battle" that is being gradually eased into the story. The next part (which I should be hitting publish on in the next day or two) does some ominous set after a night long threesome.
