I've been wanting to write something for a while about customs; just to increase the conversation a bit.
I intended at one point to make a list of all the customs I have ordered but to be honest it frightens me a bit :)
They range from the simple almost gonzo type to actual "scenes" with dialogue and fighting.
Some have been misses but the vast majority have been hits.

Anyway, I'll start off by bringing attention to a couple of recent ones that I don't think have been really advertised:

On a whim, a few weeks ago, i decided i wanted to see Supergirl in a bit of trouble and I contacted MilfGigi on clips4sale and within a week I had the custom:

https://www.clips4sale.com/studio/63805 ... ergirl-5hd

To say it was a good price and a quick turnaround is an understatement.

Another one I want to highlight is Emmas Secret Life
https://www.clips4sale.com/studio/10134 ... /supergirl

She has done a few Supergirl scenes and seems willing to do almost anything so let your imagination go wild :)

And then, i want to just highlight that if you go looking you can find many different producers who will work to give you what you want. I have a few particular favourite adult stars over the years and I have made it my aim recently to get a scene made with them.
To that end I contacted Sandra Shine, who films a lot of the scenes for Viv Thomas and she has done two amazing scenes for me now, one with Cindy Hope as Supergirl and the other with Blue Angel.

Also Gina Gerson has done a couple of scenes for me.

So, i would urge anyone looking for a custom to consider all options - sometimes if you ask the right person you get the right answer :)
I´m not on my main computer now so I don't have access to all my clips but if i get a chance later I'll post a few more images from others.

Cheers.

PS. I was within about 5 mins of getting a full girl/girl scene involving Coco but it fell through at the last second.

Thank you for the input about producers and Model talent. Can you provide links to contacting these producers- Don't recognize all the names and thus appreciate a link to see their work or contact them?

How does it work if you have a particular Model/Talent you want to use... they may not be producers themselves, so how do you get the talent connected with the "right" producer? For instance, with Gina Gershon. Is she associated with a Producer, or was she contacted separately?

Also... in your experience... how has Covid effected the ability of getting Talent together for 2 or 3 girls (guys) together?

Thank you in advance for the time/effort. Stay safe and healthy!

Hi,

Well primary option is to think of the particular person you're interested in seeing in a scene/costume and then try and find a contact for them... often (but not always) you'll get lucky with Twitter.

For example for Gina Gerson her email is available on twitter: [email protected]
Then you just send an email and hope for a reply :)

Similarly for Sandra Shine, just a little bit of googling turned up her contact:
If you go to her site http://www.sandrashine.com/ then you'll find a link for custom DVD and there you go: [email protected]
And if you're not aware then i can tell you that the girls that Sandra uses are absolutely stunning.

Another one that comes to mind is Natalia Forrest

Obviously don't assume that they will have the costume you want, so be proactive in sourcing the one that you like and offer to buy it.

In the end all you can do is ask. These days most have onlyfans anyway so they are used to doing shoots themselves, or they may already have a videographer available.

To be honest I've only done a couple of customs this year; its up to the individual producers what their covid position is. Most will still work but with a reduced number of partners, so you may not be able to get the exact combo you want.

I'm not wishing to take away from other established producers, just merely pointing out other options.
A lot of them don't offer the clips for general sale too.

I've also specifically asked producers to use certain talent - again if you don't ask then you don't get.

Sinn Sage is great for trying to get the exact person you want.
[email protected]

Just off the top of my head, a few others...
Lena Nicole, Layla Sin, Alexis Monroe, Kendall Kayden...
(You may have noticed I'm a supergirl fan, so if you're wanting a Supergirl scene from any of these then you could be in luck - otherwise you'll have to get your own costume ;) )

Maybe i will work on putting together a full list....

And i just remembered, the Second option is to go looking for a producer that makes content you like and then ask them to do one with the theme of your liking.

For example, Azure Sky didn't have any Superheroine themed stuff until someone asked....

Can't remember what the nsfw settings are here so just removed the pictures that may be risky...

No problem.

I'll be interested to hear if you go forward with any; always nice to know who is up for heroine stuff.

For reference, the first custom I ever got in this field was back in 2007 - when the dvd would be sent to you; no downloads. Since then there have been sporadic explosions in producers creating heroine themed content and right now we are in the time of the onlyfans/manyvids driven "independent producers" so everything is possible, just depends on your budget 😉

Yeah, the business of making customs is kinda like the Wild West right now.

There are some models who only work for themselves. Christina Carter, for example. She does work with other producers, of course, but mostly, she produces her own videos.

There are producers that have access to a very specific set of models and rarely if ever deviate from those. LuciaFilms is like that, I think. The one custom I did with them, they sent me a short list of their models and when I tried to ask them for someone not on the list, they tried, but it didn't go anywhere.

And then there are producers that have a set of local models, but also hire travelling models occasionally. Cali Logan is a good example of this. She has a certain set of locals she uses all the time and then she has guest models available for a few days. She has a newsletter you can sign up for where she tells you what models she has coming up. I highly recommend Cali, BTW. She has made several customs for me and they were all stellar and very reasonably priced. And she's just an awesome, friendly, person, too. :)

If I am coming up with an idea for a custom, I rarely tie it to a specific model. In my opinion, that makes things very difficult. It can be very difficult to figure out where a particular model lives, and what producers are in her area, or where she's going to be. So mostly, I come up with what I want storywise, first. And then I find a producer or multiple producers who make the kind of video I have in mind, because not every producer specializes in the right kind of content for me. And then I will send them an e-mail with a script and see who responds, and THEN we talk casting.

The few times I have tried to get a specific model have not turned out well. I tried for months to get Melissa Jacobs to do a custom for me and finally found a producer who could get her - Cali Logan actually pointed me to DTWrestling. But it was a bondage video and they are a wrestling video producer, so it didn't really come out that great.

Yeah I agree that, unless it is the actual producer/star, then going for a specific model can limit you.

So normally I go with a producer that is making content/style that I like and then (if they are not already a Superheroine producer) then I bring them around to the Superheroine theme BUT then go with an actress that they know will produce the style of scene they are shooting.

The specific-model-targeting is really a vanity project and is definitely more of a risk in terms of getting the content you want (But sometimes it really pays off).

An easy example is Obsidians Lair 1, I really wanted Kayla Kayden, and while she looks hot, her performance as a heroine wasn't really what I wanted. Whereas in the Part 2, Mia and Darcie knocked it out of the park.

I will agree that keeping to a specific model can limit you. I'm extremely specific about the ladies that I enjoy in the ship genre. I tried getting a specific models for my last custom - it obviously didn't work out. One model retired. The suggested replacement models I thought of were unavailable or didn't want to do it. There was another model that simply doesn't do customs. The next person might want to be a little more open. I'm just very, very picky about the ladies I enjoy, so I abandoned the project (among other reasons like script content and cost).

Thanks for this suggestion, I'd never heard of this producer. I happened on this post in one of my infrequent checks of this forum, and she's really impressive. I've ordered a Wonder Woman custom that's a bit darker than the other SHIP stuff I see from her, but not moreso than some other damsel in distress vids she has, so hopefully it turns out well.

I agree with your method of finding a producer you like first, then working off the models they have available or can get. For my own tastes, I've come to prefer tonally darker, less campy or comedic SHIP videos, so the majority of customs I've had made for the last year or so have been with PKF Studios. The majority of their content isn't SHIP, but the producer is willing to do that genre if the script is something that would appeal to his fanbase, which mine are. So practically all their SHIP scenes for the past year have been my customs. I was pretty proud of my video with Ashley Lane as Black Canary, Two Pretty Birds, which was PKF's top seller this year:
https://www.pkfstudios.com/updates/shoo ... tty-birds/

But I am willing to occasionally try out other studios if they have similar content to what I like to include.

Interesting. I order a lot of customs and I consider myself to be well-versed in the producers out there, but I've never even heard of this studio.

I usually find producers by looking at sites like Clips4Sale, and it doesn't look like PKF is on there, which is really weird. Looks like they do a lot of stuff that really crosses a line into murder and rape, and that might explain it. I know C4S doesn't allow that kind of stuff.

Your custom doesn't appear to have any bondage in it. Not sure if this studio does that, but if not, that would explain why I am oblivious to their existence, since that's a must-have for me. :)

Yeah, PKF exclusively does horror-themed deathporn, so I don't think a single one of their videos would be allowed on C4S. They use other platforms like Kinkbomb. They do have plenty of movies with bondage, it's just not usually my thing; I generally prefer the heroine to be taken by force rather than needing to be tied up.

They used to be associated with Xxxtremecomixxx, which I assume you're more likely to have seen; that's why most of that studio's movies had an alternate deathcut ending. But the PKF producer John M split from them I think about a year before they went under.

Cool, I'm sure it will be great.
This is one of the main reasons i made this thread, to draw attention to some less-advertised producers. For me the more producers making content then the more chance of other producers making content and keeping our happy little world turning :)

I was going to say the same thing about PKF and xxxtremecomixxx.
I got plenty of customs from xxxtreme back in the day and have maintained my connection with John since PKF completely broke away. I usually just keep an eye on the upcoming actresses and when there is one I like I get in touch about a Superheroine theme and then he can add the extra "death" ending to his other versions as he likes. Everyone is a winner.

Also while I am here i will give a little additional plug to Fine Edge entertainment. I think they are pretty close to reaching my dream level of combining the Action / production side of it with the Sex. Only thing is they tend to be a bit expensive, but i would love to see more stuff from them.

Ah, so does that mean the Harmony Wonder Batgirl vid was yours? I believe that's the only SHIP release other than mine that PKF has done since I started ordering from them.

Yup, I thought Harmony was an awesome Batgirl, we got the costume from Sugarpuss on etsy just for Harmony.
Also the Valentina Nappi Supergirl was mine.

That's cool. Olive Glass is doing a Batgirl custom for me when she films with PKF in a couple months (unless it gets delayed by more lockdowns), and I think that's the costume John is using. He said he had a purple Batgirl costume, at least, so I assume it's that one.

Thanks for the info Tumkar! In the past I have tried a few times to get a custom video made but they never worked out. I gave up on the effort. I guess you could say I'm kinda a fan of Supergirl ;) I have always thought some of my stories would translate well into genre vids. It has been a long time since I looked into making customs, but I believe my problem would be I have a certain ideal Kara Zor-El. I always thought Melanie Dunne of SuperNova fame was the ultimate casting for the sexy blonde heroine in blue and red. I think recently Lora of Lady2Fight (https://lady2fight.com) made a great girl of steel, preferred the 1984 style uniform (not a fan of tights). She does fight scenes and I think she looks great in the uniform. My stories would require acting to make the adventure work. I enjoy doing my graphic books and writing my stories but It would just be good to share my work in another media.

Funnily enough i was thinking the other day about your stories and how they would make great videos.

I agree Lady2Fight would be great for the action, also some of the SHG Media producers, Lucia or Rye could really do something with one of your stories. The question would be if you want to include any adult action then I'm not sure. I was pretty happy with the fight scene in Obsidians Lair 2, so they could be an option for the full thing. I've even talked about getting a fight choreographer involved to try to take things to the next level :)

I am familiar with those producers and I like their products. I absolutely would have adult action. The graphic work I have posted tend to be R rated (with the exception of my most recent "Interrogation Gone Wrong"). So the actress who portrays Kara would not only have to be comfortable with fight scenes but really bring home the sexual submission. Where I believe Melanie Dunne handled the "Supergirl" character eloquently but she didn't do sex scenes. Now, Coco did a great "Supergirl" sexual submission, from my point of view. I think if the cost could be managed a fight choreographer would definitely increase the production value. I am patiently waiting and watching.
