I like Hellfyra the most so far.

Also kudos to talking about Lamarckian evolution!

Thanks MetaDude! Could your preference for Hellfyra be because you're also a "Metal Dude" :) (Since she is the heavy metal Satanist heroine). Or could it just be (like others who have commented on our Facebook and DeviantArt) that she probably has the tightest costume? Either way, it's a good thing. And we delve into Lamarck via the specific science of epigenetics - the true phenomenon that your body can alter itself genetically on a micro scale, either from without (environmental factors..like, I don't know, a meteor from outer space maybe?) or from within (viruses do it, cancer does it, and so on). The superheroine transformations are willful epigenetics, writ large. Sure it's a spin on the "mutation" thing but I don't believe anyone's ever used this exact concept before.

However, unfortunately Hellfyra, Gardenia, Savanna, Arogya and Industria were not able to make the Season 1 finale for various reasons. But Devana and X-Machina were able to participate with "Skype" remote clips, and we also have brief appearances from heroines in FOUR other SHIP series (you'll have to watch Episode 13 when it comes out in November to find out which ones, but they're known to Forum fans). And getting 13 heroines together in one room (plus another 6 on tape) was no mean feat. I think this might be a record for a SHIP-related series or possibly any superhero series ever? Maybe George Perez's Sisterhood of Superheroines, or last year's Arrowverse Crisis on Earth-X crossover came close, I'm not sure.

So..to thank the loyal customers of the series and the diligent checkers of the Heroineburgh Episode One mega-thread (now finally entering its third page), here is a mind-blowing group photo that you won't be seeing anywhere else (including on our social media) for a while. Please just look at it here, or keep a private copy for yourself. We'll be revealing it to the world soon enough when publicity hits for Episodes 11-13. Thanks so much for your support....and now....Heroines Assemble!

L to R: Captain Peggy Moyers, Fianna, Frija, Vendetta, Cybrina, Poderosa, Darbouka, Jinniyya, Etherea, Arctica, Spectrina, Arcana, Lunessa, Red Gina, and Mayor Bill Paduno.

Maybe it’s the first reason, maybe the second... It’s the second. :P

Excited to see the show, also pretty happy about our little collaboration we had last night ;).

The first of many peeks into the climactic Episode 13, which is also the Heroineburgh Season 1 finale. Driven to anger, computer programmer Gina Garibaldi transforms into the raging Red Gina (Jessica) during the first Heroine League conference. Lebanese superwoman Jinniyya (Kristin) is tasked with applying her super-strength and wind powers to control Gina's outburst. Is she up to the challenge? Find out in early November when Episodes 11-13 are released!

Jessica and Kristin had a really good time working out their battle sequence, as can be seen from these shots.

Hey! How about another round of sneak-peek photos from Heroineburgh Episode 13, which we're working on right now in post-production.
In this Season 1 finale, we get to see Pittsburgh's two strongest heroines - Frija and Poderosa - testing their might against each other for the
leadership position of the Heroine League. Who will triumph? Stay tuned!

Millionaire entrepreneur Angela Schwarzwald assumes her chosen mantle as the mighty uberfrau, Frija!

OK, let's go for one final batch of preview photo stills from Episode 13 (Season One finale) as we continue the task of post-production. The next announcement will be about the local premiere events in Pittsburgh for Episodes 11-13, and then (lordy lordy!) we're going to start a thread for HEROINEBURGH Season Two. Woo hoo!

Spectrina, Arctica and Vendetta at the conference table. There's some sexual tension between Spectrina and Arctica, especially when Arctica makes a visible pass at Fianna. Spectrina announces Arogya's secret research into the genetic origins of their powers. Vendetta talks about her crusade against the mob's drug dealings, announces that Savanna had a baby, and lets everyone know that Devana is on a mission in Serbia to stop the thugs who threaten her brother.

Apparently each post can only hold so many uploads at once so here are the final three for Episode 13.

Dwight and Penny (soon to become the superpowered burglary team, Fenneca the Silver Fox and Canis the Hound) go over their plans to rob the Black Forest Fitness office.

Longshot, of course, but if anyone on this forum is in the Pittsburgh area on the first weekend of November, please consider stopping by one of our two premieres for Episodes 11-13. Witness the power and the peril, and all the spandex!

Heroineburgh presents two premiere events for Episodes 11-13, the concluding parts of Season One of the live-action series.
Includes the following action: A biologist at the University of Pittsburgh discovers the genetic origins of the heroine transformations, and she gains the power to alter organic tissue, becoming Arogya the Healer. A TV reporter and single mother of two becomes both a super-Mom and the Latina superwoman, Poderosa. And a German immigrant who made millions as a fitness entrepreneur realizes her dream of becoming the strongest woman in the world, Frija the uberfrau. Plus, will chaos ensue when the newly formed Pittsburgh Heroine League holds its first meeting, or will the disparate heroines unite? Find out at the following events.

Sat Nov 3 7:30 pm all ages / cosplay friendly $5 admission ($3 with costume)
Coffee Buddha 964 Perry Highway, North Hills 15237
Four screens of action! Scrumptious free treats including Captain Peggy's cop donuts, Arogya's samosas vs Poderosa's empanadas, and a villainous ice cream bar with revenge served cold.

Sat Nov 4 8:00 pm 21+ to drink (under 21 with accompanying parent)
Hambones 4207 Butler St, Lawrenceville 15201
Big projection screen and big sound! Meet the actresses. T-shirts and stickers and posters. Full restaurant menu and bar.

Looking forward to debuting these episodes in November, then taking them to the Steel City Con in December, and starting to work on Season Two!

Here is the trailer for Episodes 11-13.

The stories in these episodes involves the origins of Indian superheroine Arogya, Puerto Rican heroine Poderosa, and German heroine Frija,
plus the introduction of more villains, and the new formation of the Pittsburgh Heroine League.

We are so close to being ready. We're rendering EPs 11-12 tonight, and should be able to do the same for EP13 within a couple more days.
Right now this trailer is primarily being used to promote the local premieres, but of course I'll post it in Superheroine Releases once the episodes
are up on the web by late November.

Meanwhile, enjoy!

This past weekend, the premiere events for Episodes 11-13 went great: both the all-ages event at Coffee Buddha and the over-21 event at Hambone's.
New fans showed up, and the heroines and their friends attended as well. We also dedicated these events to our friend Jesse, who designed the Heroineburgh logo and unfortunately passed away at the much-too-young age of 40 a few days ago. We donated most of the door proceed to help his family with funeral expenses. Nonetheless, the premiere was a happy occasion, and everyone cheered on the heroines' adventures in completing Season One of the series. We look forward to Season Two as well as the planning of the Heroineburgh Comics label.

Here are some shots from the premieres.
Drake, Poderosa, Jinniyya and Dysphoria cease all hostilities as they gather peaceably at Coffee Buddha.

And over at Hambone's, the motley crew of Dysphoria (in civilian form), Kurgana (future character in Season 2), Captain Peggy and Cameraman Pete have a blast!

Power Girl writer Jimmy Palmiotti liked our Poderosa character on Twitter!
He's a big comics hero - wrote for Starfire and Harley Quinn, created Painkiller Jane, etc.
