For me boy/girl is definitely preferred. I know that one can get in trouble issuing vast generalizations based on preferences in this genre, but I wonder whether for heterosexual guys the difference in preferences is based on whether you imagine you are the villain in a superheroine peril scenario (boy-girl) or a voyeur (girl-girl).
