Of course only much erotic and better. The hype of 50 shades of grey is ridicilous and stupid. Cant understand the hype. In compare to the fetish of old batman show , 50 shades of grey is so boring, lame and of it has no colour and it had no campy athmosphare like in the orginal batman show.
Many people couldnt understand it, but for me the classic batman show is the finest art of erotic bdsm pleasure.

The thing about the specificity of fetishes is that people in general are generally oblivious to their existence. I'm pretty sure the makers of the 1960's Batman show were unaware that - for example - some people would be turned on by Batgirl being gassed / chloroformed etc. And a lot of what they did - skintight costumes and so on - was broadly inspired by the comics, so the kink kind of came out of that. Any fetish is very much in the eye of the beholder, and much of it relies on context, and a lot of fetishes I don't 'get', but equally I don't necessarily expect people to get my fetishes either.

I would contend that 50 Shades - whatever one feels about it any merits it may or may not have - is closer to a notion of 'mainstream porn' (if such a thing could exist) rather than fetish.
