Under the cover of darkness, a group of poachers made their way through the dense marshlands which formed a feature of the vast natural preserve. The huge size of the park made it impossible for its small contingent of rangers to effectively police it. Armed with high-powered rifles and night vision goggles , the six poachers were looking to kill one of the many rare animals that were indigenous to the park,which was protected under law, and sell their pelts or other body parts on the black market for a profit.
MIKE DANDEE, a 50 year old former guide turned criminal, raised his hand to his partners as he spotted a group of 10 sandy wallabies grazing on a savannah just in front of them. He used hand signals to direct the other five poachers to take up positions to prevent the animals from escaping. But they had no idea that other eyes were on them...
