We have 2 story sections, the Dungeon for darker, harder content (deaths, explicit torture, violent defeats) and the regular section for tamer content.
There are several superb writers here so you should be able to find something to your tastes (I miss typed that as 'testes'
lol) and several are women, (not that I am implying that's a surprise, just pointing it out in relation to your question) and a fair number of posters here are from the fairer sex.

It was just a curiosity of mine. I assumed that most writers of this kind of genre would be men. However recently I was wondering considering how much women watch mainstream porn. Stories seem more geared towards women, with post 50 shades erotica doing well. But I was wondering what tastes do both men and women have here? Maybe some of the writers and readers could share that with me, I would be grateful.

In the mainstream stories section I have split my stories into two types, Batgirl and Wonder Woman, that I use for sexual stories and Supergirl that I make more plot driven with peril but no sex. That was a conscious decision I made at the start to allow me to explore different themes in different ways.
So I tend to write things to see if I can, rather than for a particular preference of mine. That said I prefer my plot driven SG stories to the sex stuff.
I've yet to do an OC but I have one ticking over in the background that I will get to one day. Hats off to all the authors who do post their original characters.
