We Are Running A Secure Site

Not sure if you noticed,

But there is now a green padlock up on your browser bar which means the site is more secure. We've never had a problem with identity theft here, it's not like we are conducting business transactions but the safer the better. I was already working towards this goal and thought I would finish it.

A couple of changes. This site is no longer allowing remote avatars. If you had a linked avatar please upload it to the server. Remote calls to load an image file starts to degrade performance and if that file is hosted on an unsecured site then that whole browser session will be not be secure. So if you all of a sudden find yourself without an avatar, grab it and upload it.

Any page that has mixed content will not be secure. So if there are images hosted elsewhere from an unsecured site then again, the browser session will not be secure. Sites like Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook etc do not have that problem. Anyway, that's a lot of jibber jabber that you probably don't need to know. Just something you might have noticed.
