This came as a big surprise for me, largely because I had been told he died five years ago.
Ok he essentially was playing his Marine Corps self but he still did do it very well indeed, the quintessential drill instructor.

This guy is a legend, he will be missed. Sure he may have often been playing "himself" in many roles but at least that made his characters even more believably tough. God help heaven!
