Just a little harmless commentary. I don't see much else can be added for this thread at this point, at least not a few months from now when more is released.
Then that's a failure of imagination on your part.

No politics.
Lighten up Francis. You consistently seem like you’re trying to pick a fight. I was done after that last post. You don’t always have to come across as someone spoiling for a pointless online fight.
Hm. Indeed. I was being needlessly brusque. Apologies.

Some more thoughts about "the Batman" movie:

It will be very different from the existing Batman movies....if that is a good thing or not....we will know in March next year.
I am (still) not sure about Robert Pattinson as Batman... the only movie I ever saw with him is "The Lighthouse" in which he showed some really good acting skills.
My main concern now is the Catwoman in this one (surprise! ;-) )
Yeah, I know she is in her very early Catwoman career and that is not her "final" costume.
But....this makeshift costume and shredded ski mask.... look....rather......awful ...in my opinion.
And another issue for me is her height. I like tall women, and she is not only small, she is really tiny with 1,57m (5 feet 2 inches).
The combination of her height, that short haircut and her "costume" doesn't work for me. At least judging from the trailer.
There are two scenes with her that I like in the trailer. Selina exiting the car in these boots and fishnets....that is sexy. And with these heels, she looks better in several ways.
The scene where she touches Batman's cowl and asks who would be under it is quite nice as well.
I really hope that they don't learn their secret identities as it happens normally in the movies/TV shows....
It would be really great if there would be some unmasking action between these two ;-)
Will be interesting to see how she will portray this iconic character! It will at least be a better portrayal as in a certain movie from a crazy french director.

Well, the article is from early 2020, but IF that would be the cowl she would be wearing later in the movie.....I would be "quite" happy!!! :hmmm: :yahoo:

That mask really does suck, I can't believe they would go so basic low budget look with her??? Really even the car looks like a garage built scrap heap, not what a billionaire playboy vigilante would use...

Oddly Alfred calling him Bruce instead of Master Bruce or Master Wayne jarred with me. A deplorable butler, lol. He'll never be on Downton, lol 😂

I think this young Bruce Wayne is not a true Wayne anyway, maybe he is adopted and that's why he asks Alfred how long he knew...

Plus hopefully Catwoman gets a little frisky

Since I got no answer about what a sonic fan is I googled it and found the meaning in an urban dictionary (not a native English speaker).
And how does that description fit me?
Overall I am a very positive guy I would say (unlike some grinches here) and it's pretty easy to make me happy or to entertain me (#Batwoman #Stargirl).
I love the old Batman movies (starting with Keaton) and the newer ones with Bale.
Michelle Pfeiffer in that costume was breathtaking².
Anne Hathaway was a pretty cool Catwoman even there were some flaws (no secret identity as everyone knew who she was, eye mask)
This movie looks very promising as well.
But I think there is a lot wrong with this new Catwoman.
Yeah, I know ...since I might have this slight mask fetish....the costumes and masks of the masked women of a movie are very important to me. ;)
And Kravitz is really tiny (1,57m), skinny, the haircut is horrible and for the mask alone the costume designer should be banned to a deserted island for some years.
Also, it looks like she was wearing one or two push-up bras in that costume as normally she looks.....different....in that regard. :hmmm:
I know that this is a very early Catwoman and that she will get a better costume in the process and not one that many cosplayers would laugh about. Perhaps that will even be presented at the end of the movie...
And yeah, of course, I will watch the movie in the cinema and hope that she will surprise me in a positive way. And that isn't very hard now...
If the writing fits and her acting... I may get used to her Catwoman and perhaps her acting will win me over.
Back as TDKR was going to hit the cinema I was thrilled to the max, especially about Catwoman.
Yeah, those expectations were too high but still, I was happy as I left the cinema.
Looking forward to the movie as I am thrilled about basically every aspect except Catwoman.

She looks great and has a really sexy vibe going on with her catwoman. I hated Hathaway- basically annoying to the max- or it could be Nolan's atrocious dialogue

Sorry, Supergirllegend, but I must disagree with you about Hathaway's cat woman. Very sexy in that outfit and the dialogue, though a bit campy in places, didn't bother me all that much.

Costumes fine. I think you're all laboring under the impression that every iteration of Catwoman should appear fully complete. This is a Batman 'year one' type story and that is illustrated in his regular ass combat boots, his not-quite-bat mobile, Catwoman's not fully formed look etc.

If we get sequels, they'll no doubt evolve. Batman's look is a 'little' more formed because Bruce has been doing it for a little while now, my guess is, Catwoman is brand new at this/inspired by the Batman.
