I'm telling you... seeing gorgeous women with strong, thick thighs in skin-tight spandex... I am in heaven. The Olymics are a showcase for the human ass.

Anyone else here a little bit *extra* eager to tune in every day?

Spyder clothing has an entire Marvel.inspired line of race wear....amazingly tight and supportive...yet incredibly comfortable....wouldn't recommend wearing on public transit.

USA Women's Hockey was some game!

I've really been enjoying these games and I'll be bummed when it's over. Even though I root for the USA I especially enjoy how the medals have been spread out and I feel like even the more mundane, or what I used to consider mundane, events have an excitement to them.

I don't think we have any Norwegians on this board but congratulations to everyone else, especially the Germans and the Canadians for placing 2nd and 3rd so far in the medal count.

You mean there are other countries competing? Hard to tell sometimes with the coverage on NBC. They're subsidiary networks like NBC Sports and other NBC channels have been better about at least acknowledging other countries.

On the main channel it feels like they only point out other countries because they're ahead of the U.S. in the standings. And when, say, the U.S. is ranked 15th in some sport , they show the top three or four and then skip all the other countries and put up the U.S. athletes in the chart on screen after the top few with their standings next to them. So it goes 1 - 4 and then suddenly 15th and the U.S. flag. It puts one off after continuous coverage like that.

Mind you, I'm very happy to see U.S. athletes succeed but a tad less commercialism and xenophobia would be nice.

I definitely agree with you and I get irritated by it too but then I have to remind myself that NBS IS an American TV station so they are going to slant that way. And then I tell myself the same thing is probably happening in the Netherlands and South Korea

I'd love to see some unbiased Olympic TV station that you could pick up (even pay for) that would just give the facts and some fun interviews and what not.

SOme of the coverage of NBC, especially the interviews, have been cringeworthy.

On a side note, why do I get the sneaking suspicion that Lindsay Vonn will try to compete at 37 in Bejing? Maybe she's just caught up in the moment but she definitely did NOT shut the door on her Olympic career in those post Alpine race interviews.

As much as the outfits aren't the most revealing, I'm very much in love with British curler Anna Sloan. Gorgeous lady.

NBC showed clips from this routine. Further research ensued.
