Salutations from Damselbinder, Wordsmith and Pretentious Man

Hi there. I'm Damselbinder - been a writer on Deviantart and this here forum for a good few years now. Thought I'd reintroduce myself, maybe advertise some of my wares, as well as rear my head to people who may not have seen me. As far as my philosophy as an author goes, I focus on light, sensual an...

Re: The Perils of Valora 4: Superheroinas al borde de un ataque de nervios

It was a shame that so much of Mulcahy Park had been frozen over: it was one of Maria’s favourite haunts when she wanted to run, or when she wanted to be alone. But she wasn’t far from the Canal , so she decided to jog there. She wanted, probably even needed, some space. Though she stayed off the hi...

Re: Is Helen Slater still the definitive live action Supergirl?

I'm afraid I think Melissa Benoist is the superior Supergirl by a country mile. Helen Slater's movie wasn't just campy; it was a really bad film, and if Helen Slater has talent, she wasn't allowed to display it. Her portrayal got across very little of what makes the character memorable.

Let's say you're a fan of chess. You play often, you follow the professional circuit, you are a member of several chess blogs and you bemoan the fact that very few movies ever put any focus on this passion of yours. Freebird and Hypatia, Gassed and Bound - Now in Colour!
