Re: :RIP Tanya Roberts
I've always loved female Robin Hoods. Then maybe something good can come of this tragedy, IM Sancho. If you haven't done so, check out the Robyn Hood comic book series on Zenescope. About a dozen graphic novels, all told, will hopefully whet your appetite for the archetype. https://zenescope.com/co...

Re: Living in the shadow of the corona virus
Well many of those gathered without masks in close proximity to each other shouting obscenities yesterday will no doubt be happy that Biden will become President literally over their dead body as in 2 weeks they will have caught Covid and be dead I hope they don't die. I want them to spend many, he...

Re: Living in the shadow of the corona virus
Please don't start with the politics. Let the cloud of fog settle. NOBODY is the good guy. Nobody. Don't be absurd. Every D.C. local who stayed home at the mayor's request yesterday to avoid confrontation with Trump's mob was a good guy/girl. And every one of the shit-for-brains rioters that storme...

Re: Lovers Of Yvonne Craig Batgirl
It is remarkable that Yvonne Craig's costume was so cheap looking by any reasonable modern broadcast standard, but it just looked beyond-belief sexy. I doubt the costume department had a big budget, but they must have been very, very skilled... and of course they had an absurdly attractive human bei...

Re: RIP Marvelous Marvin Hagler
If you were from the Boston area in the 80's, every Hagler fight was an event, he had the whole city behind him and pulling for him. I just saw that first round again today from that Hagler v Hearns fight and that was a slobberknocker classic indeed.

Re: Athletes as super heroines
The cool thing about the pole vaulters is that they give us the trap door effect. As we know, super heroines sometimes fall through trap doors. I think it is fantastic that we can get away with wearing such a little amount of clothing in public without any scrutiny or without people even batting an...

Re: Athletes as super heroines
Thanks for the McKayla Maroney videos. I had seen the one with the frisbee on the roof, but I hadn't seen the other one. A devious thought about the end of the first one. The two frisbee throwers are actually The Riddler's henchmen. The first frisbee didn't the land on the trap door, but the second ...

A lot more went down at Terrificon on Day 2. Marvin and I each sold about 20 sets of comics, and we met IMSancho from the Forum and had a nice talk (thanks for stopping by the table!). Next, we'll be at NortheastCon 30 miles outside of Boston in Boxboro, MA for Thanksgiving Weekend Nov 26-28. If you're in the New England area, come and check us out! Re: 2021 Comicon Season
NortheastCon in Boxboro, MA was fun, if a bit underattended. Not sure I'd attend a Thanksgiving Weekend convention again (just wanted to try one to see how it would go) but from what I understand, the other iterations of this Con in the spring and summer are much better attended so maybe we'll try t...

Re: O-girl in 'Stream of Consciousness' (j.w. productions)
The streamers tightening was probably done by reversing the streamers loosening as O-girl wriggle out of them. Making it happen slower and still look convincing would be tough. Electra Woman and Dyna Girl Hypnosis/Peril in "Glitterock"
Peril was a near constant in Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, as befitting it's "It's just Batman but with Women" nature. My personal favorite peril comes from the Glitter rock episode, though Electra Womans captivity at the hand of Spider-Lady and her defeats by the Evil Dyna Girl (yes she be...

Reading this, I immediately thought of why Batgirl was so awesome. YC a accomplished ballet dancer before becoming Batgirl. She knew how to move and had the physicality for the character. Here is an idea. The movie is set in Batgirl1969’s apartment. It’s a rainy day and she pulls out a box of old dolls and action figures. The toys of her youth! She starts playing with them and cut to Margo Robbie living out the scenarios. A doll universe controlled by a woman, with sexual hang ups, t...

The lack of reality aside, Stefanie Powers did look great in those leotards, didn’t she? Damn skippy! In all fairness to Batgirl she usually figured it out before Batman!!! So she was alone to fight the villains!!

I've been considering getting a custom film made starring Electrawoman. It would center around her incompetence and ultimately lead to her public humiliation and the end of her crime fighting career.
