Spider-Woman was aired even here in Italy when I was a little child, even had an original italian intro theme (very rare but you can watch/listen to it on youtube), I thought the cartoon was absolutely silly and campy, but I remember watching it anyway

I think those characters are a parody of Black Panther and Storm, and the ''daughter'' is a metaphor of the audience (who at first wanted them back, then see how it ended -worse-, so they say ok ok fine, go ...
