Re: New Film "Batgirl" coming from TBFE

Batgirl doesn't usually compel me... but Lexi Belle is compelling. She always has a great O-face, and knows how to use her voice to great effect. And the closing voiceover in this trailer is very effective. And I'm always happy to see a good costume that still gets wrecked. I know that's not cheap.

Re: Desperately Seeking.....

A long time ago I wrote a heroine whose powers seemed to come from an energy field created by wearing special gemstones that recharged in the absence of light. The field was dampened by (and would gradually break down) fabrics close to the skin. The more and thicker the fabric, the less power she co...

Re: Definition of "Fetish Video"

The thought of victorious villains looming over Batgirl in full costume except for the mask and wig fascinated me. What would Barbara's facial expression be like? What would she say? And, possibly the biggest question, would she act like Batgirl or Barbara? Identity is such a fascinating thing, isn...

Rationally, such a fate would destroy the character. (Although the same series did do a "cop-out" resolution to King Tut revealing Batman's identity.) But, in my young head, it just seemed ridiculous that no villain ever unmasked Batgirl. I just couldn't fathom the thought processes of th...

Therapists often say "maybe it's this" to get you to consider it, to see if there's truth in it. Therapists suggest a lot of things -- that's not a diagnosis. If you ask a "why do I" question, they'll help you try to answer the question. They can have experience and education tha...
