Re: Anyone else getting Logan's "last chance" emails?
It was mentioned a few times during the kickstarter by myself and others, the kickstarter money's gone to a comics LLC and the kickstarter itself is to fund costumes and not a movie. If nothing comes out of it other than a few costumes and a webcomic, the kickstarter is fulfilled and Logan walks wit...

Re: "Dark Wondra 1: Collected" is coming soon!
Heroine captured could potentially mean just heavilly restrained - as mentioned. How they get in that state is the question, for every heroine but Darkwing and Seer that's simply not going to happen while they're awake and fully aware. Not that continuity or sense necessarilly take the front seat. O...

Re: Greenscreen "Comic Strip" Backdrops?
It would need to be more simplified than that - the background's just too "busy" IMO
Needs to be quite simple, as HM has already done. It's noting new really, matte painting is a classic way to create a location effect. With complexity the effect gets increasingly harder to sell.

Re: Greenscreen "Comic Strip" Backdrops?
It would definintely work well with Anastasia's, Kendra's, or MH's - MH already using! As I say, there needs to be approriate attention paid to the set dressing - all 3 producers pay attention to it already! The all FX intro's is something maybe Anastasia and Kendra want to look into, would mean the...

Re: Greenscreen "Comic Strip" Backdrops?
Selling such a effect can be challenging - it depends what the producer is looking to go for really. The first example you show works well, it's removed from reality and supposed to be "comic style". Taking the same process and making it look realistic is a much bigger challenge though. So...

Being fair, Deadpool's budget was pretty tiny by Marvel film standards - and they did an amazing job bringing in a ton of profit. Nightshadow at $100,000,000 is going to bring in zero profit, you might say suggesting it won't reach that figure in cinema sales would be shooting down the project - so ...

There are not hundreds of villains. And why would anyone want that? Freak of the week? Superman may have a fairly large rouges gallery but its not hundreds. Seems silly to get to season 2 and be scraping the bucket for Cowboy Man or the Metal Men or Kryptonite Puppy or some such d-listers. Maxwell ...

except for the lame villains someone like Darksied is going to require a huge budget. I think longer running villains over a few episodes would work better. Yeah sure Superman had that villain that was a cowboy and rode him like a horse but hardly that's going to end up on a show. Yes, they need to...

Without quoting Digitalbleh's whole post - there are some open-source solutions for netflix-style server software. It wouldn't be that costly to adapt the code to suit your needs. Perhaps being quite obvious there is no sexual activity actually occurring is the entire point? After all - hard to define a shoot as softcore if you can't tell if the sex is real or not. Original is definitely the way to go. If you're shooting with trademarked characters that's always going to give you a ceiling. Currently we've seen somewhat of a lull, but if the DC universe movies do take off - can bet good money DC are going to get more agressive in defending their trademarked ch...

It kinda depends what kind of production values you're shooting for. If you're selling it, and have incredible production values - you can bet the corporate big wigs are going to come by for a chunk of the pie. Ofc, that's probably a little above what you're shooting for at present - the costumes al...

The VAST majority of cosplayers would have serious distain for a superheroine fetish video.
A collaboration is unpaid work, essentially for showreel and that's it. Models are generally looking to get paid for this kind of work.

Models generally have travel details planned - and can be contacted to see where they'll be. A map is not a smart idea however.
As for collaborations - a SHIP Vid has zero worth to a cosplayer, and models are looking to get paid. A non-starter.
