Re: How to tell your friends and family that you now ....make fetish videos for a living?
Do you need to make any more money? If not, you might just tell your relatives that you're retiring early. If you anticipate that you might decide to, or be financially obligated to reenter the world of "regular" work, you should consider what you might tell a prospective employer. I've ha...

Re: Patreon going full shutdown
Some of Patreon's purging comes from activists within the company, but I expect stuff like this is more due to policies imposed by Mastercard, Visa etc, (which are somewhat in bed with the government(s)), and/or legal reasons. I don't claim to understand it all. "Operation Chokepoint" is a...

Re: Should Writers Include Disclaimers in Stories?
The more information the better generally, though at some point it becomes spoilers. Like the JAV categorisation good/bad ending. What about a surprise? It would be fun to have a story customisation system. Present a story in a web page with buttons. If you want to dial down the sex, or the fight sc...

The Alex Braun porn parodies are well known and use Marvel/DC characters. I don't know exactly what the rules are - where copyright starts to be infringed. Think it has something to do with whether it legally qualifies as a "parody". In other areas, the law looks more harshly on content fo...

Feel like costume designers are missing the point when this sort of costume isn't even shiny. I feel like CW shows want to be a bit dowdy, but partly the trend for matte outfits in recent stuff is down to greenscreen, and avoiding reflecting the camera crew etc. "The Mandalorian" uses a g...

Blu Ray sucks. I forked out £50 for a blu ray disc player for my PC, and the only way I managed to get it to it to actually play the cursed things is to use some software to "rip" them to a huge file on my hard disc, taking about half an hour. DVDs still have some bullshit region protectio...

Away looks schmaltzy. If I were sending a crew to Mars, I'd select people who were undramatic. I'm not claiming that this show is unrealistic, since the people who run NASA may think differently, or act as if they think differently. If used as a parallel to this situation, prohibition was somewhat successful. It didn't stop drinking entirely, but it may have reduced instances of people getting wasted in public, in a way that might have been annoying to others.

People can advertise and sell comics effectively on the internet via social media, crowdfunding etc now. I imagine much of the big players' business drying up is due to that. If DC want comics made with their IP it might be cheaper now to just commission an artist, rather than retaining them as perm...

Technically it's a mask and not scuba gear, but it fits the diver aesthetic better. Both if you think it fits. Hopefully you should be able to host the content without duplicating it.

Guardian stats These stats are confusing/misleading, and there's probably no need for them to be. Why obfuscate the truth when it suits your narrative anyway? Higher resolution would be worthwhile. If the file size becomes a problem, you can always just do 180 degrees.
I might have a bash at this in Blender. What software did you use?

I recall it getting slated in the press for bat nipples etc. Maybe an early example of the media rating something poorly because it was too sexy.

I don't get why there's so much hysteria about Jesus getting race-swapped. Surely the most contentious thing is that they're misrepresenting a carpenter and health expert as some kind of magical entity.
If you happen to read this Jesus, I am making a joke. Keep up the good work etc.
