Re: In 2021, Do You Care If Your Superheroines Models Have Tattoos?

Nothing to do with heroines or wholesomeness, but to me, as an aesthetic choice, the smaller and fewer the better. But as a character choice? Depends on the character, and how you're playing with the character. I could see Diana having a penal tattoo as a condition of exile. I could see young SG get...

Re: 0.01% Only Fans money

A lot of money seems to get spent on the game of coaxing a girl to be just a little bit naughtier. The not-too-naughty brand management of content portals is obnoxious, especially when the limit gets fastidiously dragged toward broadcast TV standards. But it also seems inevitable. Which makes conten...

This looks like a costume for girls and women who want to be a superhero. It looks female, form-fitting, athletic, purposeful. Also like actual clothing made of fabrics not resins, with a couple of key elements of melodramatic identity. I hope this iteration has a good run with stories that make gir...

Re: Sasha Calle as DCEU's Supergirl

Or did the fact that the Captain Marvel made tons of $$$ for the MCU set a bad precedent of sorts for superheroine-dom? As I suspected, cost seemed to be a deciding factor for cancelling. Those 1920's sets were amazing, but that stuff doesn't come for free. Shame they couldn't have pared down the cost level of the flashbacks and gone forward with a second season. I was enjoying it. I don't know, this suggests to me ...

The series was cancelled last year. But last month, Adult Swim announced movies for Venture Bros, Metalocalypse, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force. A movie seems an inadequate vehicle for a proper farewell, and as brilliant as they can be in 60 or 90 minutes, a single extended adventure a la the Cowboy Beb...

Unaware it had already been cancelled, I watched the first two episodes last night. It had that "the whole first season is setup" feeling. In websearching Jupiter's Legacy Cliffhanger I saw that it had a cliffhanger ending *and* was cancelled. I felt bad for Josh Duhamel for a few minutes,...
