Re: SHIP Golden Age has passed

I might be jaded but my inbox is full of “creative” ideas submitted by fans that usually sound something like this: “What if she’s spanked, then turned upside down, then five guys walk in, then she falls from the moon, then they spank get again, then Batman walks in, then a skyscraper falls over” L...

Re: SHIP Golden Age has passed

You can’t tell me to read through the fiction written on the forums for ideas and then throw it in my face that they weren’t intended to be film ideas. I don’t read these stories for inspiration… wasn’t that the problem? That this was a treasure trove of inspiration for films that I in fact neglect...

It'd be nice to see more of this guy and less of the one I've been arguing with. Have you read through your earlier post I quoted? You managed to insult fans, writers and Rye, pretty much all in one breath. I can give you the benefit of the doubt and accept that you didn't intend to insult people, ...

Re: SHIP Golden Age has passed

Maybe we could also ask what had to change and why? Some formulas work better than others. For example, why is female cheese cake in these movies so discouraged yet I just watched a Vegas pride parade with topless women and trans marching in front of kids. Not sure why we can't have a busty Wonder ...

Re: SHIP Golden Age has passed

Femina, I feel your pain. The seventies, when the women's lib movement was a real growing force, generated a few strong female characters like WW and the Bionic Woman. Even though WW was pretty cheesy, you still here about girls who were inspired by it. Same with Lindsey Wagner's show. But movies? N...

Re: SHIP Golden Age has passed

That's an interesting perspective. I've always preferred videos that take a little time to establish the heroine as worthy of the name before the peril starts. And some actresses are definitely better at exuding heroineness that others. Wildkat's videos are effective because he shoots them like a re...

Re: SHIP Golden Age has passed

capitalism is a simply the opportunity to sell one’s goods and services to whom ever they want at whatever price they want. Yeah, that's pretty innocuous sounding as a sterile definition. The problem is the application. Unfettered capitalism inevitably leads to monopoly, the stifling of innovation,...

I think you are being a little loose with the term ‘hardcore’ as I am one of the very few hardcore producers in the genre right now. Rye doesn’t shoot hardcore, Lucia has only done one hardcore film and TBFE only has done one hardcore film That’s what I mean by ‘vague’. Almost all SHIP being produc...

Re: SHIP Golden Age has passed

Yeah, I agree on the costumes. With so many productions being customs now, the taste of the customer comes first. It seems like the people with money for customs want slutty costumes and tons of rapey sex. I just want content that delves further into SHIP than movies or TV can usually deliver, not t...

SHIP Golden Age has passed

I'm finding it harder and harder to find videos that interest me. Years ago we enjoyed an embarrassment of riches. Rye and TBFE were regularly releasing their own stories. Bluestone had a run of producing excellent videos. Numerous other producers were busy and some of their vids were great. The Jap...

Re: "Supernova Prime 7: The Huntsman" is RELEASED!

I feel your pain about drag-on strangle scenes. There are two strangle scenes, one in civilian guise, and one in costume. Neither goes on too long, and there is plenty of other action in the video.
Thanks, that was very helpful.

Re: "Supernova Prime 7: The Huntsman" is RELEASED!

It'd be nice if someone reported what percentage of this video is devoted to strangulation. Much as I love this actress and some of her previous videos, Blue's return to mostly choking vids a few years back means I'd never buy this unless I had assurances that it isn't dominated with strangulation.

Reviews for the movie are mixed, but there seems to be universal praise for Sasha's Supergirl. Seven pages (and counting) from the handful of usual suspects bullhorning their seventh wave identity politics looks a little silly now, no?

Yes, quite so. The spectacularly beautiful, sexy heroine, who appeared multiple times per episode fighting all sorts of villains, often having at least momentary trouble in the many fight scenes, wasn't also an Olympic-level fencer. She Spies was another fun show from the 2000s. Or at least, the first season was campy fun. The second season kind of lost that sense of fun. The first season of She Spies was excellent! I think the show might have been a few years ahead of its time. It was so clever and entertaining, but innovatio...

Top five favorite live action shows with peril

I thought it might be time for people to chime in with some fave TV shows. I'm defining peril broadly here, to include fight scenes where the heroine doesn't just dominate throughout. I'll get things started: 1. Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Seven seasons of a pretty girl/woman with superpowers battlin...

Re: What is the ONE Superheroine Peril Element You MUST Have In A Video

A challenging fight. The idea of heroines is unlikely. Women, on average, are smaller, less strong and less aggressive than men. Also, a female hero faces dangers a male hero wouldn't should she lose. Defying all of that makes heroines very brave and admirable, but if they start to struggle during a...
