The last few years and right now is a terrible time in home enetertainment.

Why it is so splintered with streaming services, you can't watch everything.

There are too many different platform and unless you want to blow your budget or are rich you can't watch everything

Even Sling you would have to spend big money with they split Orange and Blue

Worse is after you are addicted to the streaming platforms, they all raise the prices. Too many platforms needed to see a few shows that I might be interest in watching.

I'm living in an area where I can't get a decent signal for free over the air commercial television so I had to go to cable just to get those. For a few years the basic package included some other channels with decent programming, but now the better shows are all being shifted to streaming platforms. So Dr. Who is only on Disney+ for the new episodes.

I agree with you guys. The great programs these days are spread out over too many streaming platforms. There was a lot of backlash when the NFL put that Dolphins/Bills NFL playoff game exclusively on Peacock, but that is the wave of the future. The NFL got paid 110 million dollars to give that game to Peacock, and the buzz next year is they will sell a playoff game for 200 million. Cable is hemorrhaging more viewers every year with folks cord cutting, the Cable TV/network business model is in decline, the future may not be bright for cable and networks as we see them today, these companies must plan for a future when cable is not as prominent or profitable. One of the things that will inevitably happen is I think we will see some consolidation and some of these streaming services will combine as these entertainment conglomerates merge. One thing I will also suggest is folks take a closer look at their cable bills, they may have access to streaming platforms they are simply unaware of. I discovered last week when checking my bill that I have access to Paramount Plus as part of my package, which I was not aware of. Network television sucks nowadays except for sports. FYI, in my neck of the woods, I have Spectrum for my cable provider, and they informed me that Disney Plus is now part of my now $256 a month silver package (including Internet) that also includes Max, and Paramount Plus.

This is the way of the Tech Bro.

They call it disruption. They attack an existing industry with a new business model that is never going to be profitable. Fuck Everything Up. And then when everything is much worse they go back to square one. Except now it's square like -5 or something.

The NFL so pisses me off. I just want to watch games and not reruns. I ended up going to casinos for games.

This model encourages waiting till clips end up on youtube. I'm not going to join paramount just to watch Star Trek.

Has anyone had any luck cancelling and then resubscribing to services? I was thinking of trying to set up a rotating system of streaming services. It might keep them fresh too. Cancel everything, pick 1, use it for a month, cancel it, sub to a new service, rinse repeat. Has anyone tried this yet? Or is it just a headache with hidden resub fees?

Randy shut down her store when she left the business.

She's now back doing new clips for other studios (FM Concepts, Playtime Jerkoff, Alex Bettinger, Christina Carter, etc.) but doesn't have her own store.

It's really funny how quickly the topics go completely off-topic here with some specialists on this board.

Back top topic:
Yeah, all those different streaming services especially bring in one major problem for me.
The sheer quantity of TV shows has grown totally out of control... I watch a lot, but nowadays there are so many shows that I would like to watch but just can't as free time isn't endless. (surprise!)
Plus I still buy DVDs and Blu-rays to add to my pretty big collection.
