RIP Marty. Not quite the end of an era yet, though, as Sid is still alive at 94!

God, was I I love with Joy of the Bugaloos. Tiny pink minidress. I always thought their villains were pretty cool, Lidsville and Puffenstuff with a girl being the human lead would have been great.

Unbelievably good song for 1970, especially given that it was a one-off for a kids TV show. Production is on par with 5th Dimension and Sgt Pepper, etc. And it wound up charting as a minor hit.

Wound up being sampled in by the Chemical Brothers as recently as 2021.
