So what are your favorite videos from Giga freaks/Akiba Web? Lots to sift through so I'm trying to narrow down the choices. They can be hit or miss.

Haha, it's a good question! There are plenty of good videos on Akiba-Web (also, you can try Akiba-heroine, it's the same type of videos but without porn).

My all time favorite video is ATHB-14:

The heroine is not the most beautiful girl but there is all that I love to see in this type of video: Long good fighting scene, short sex sequence with the attire still on the heroine, KO scene, lifebars (like in a true videogame)...

However, I like these videos too:
TRE-05, TRE-08, TRE-11, TDLN-67, GXXD-12, PGHD-01 or TSWN-031

And there are many many other good videos.

What I like the most in Giga videos is the costume of their heroines. Many girls wears costumes we never see with occidental producers. And I like when I can see other stuff than Wonder Woman, Batgirl or Supergirl (I have indigestion with these 3 heroines, lol)

Awesome! I also like their giant heroine videos. As you say they do many different things and the costumes are first rate. And when they do a WW character the costume is very well made. And the villains. A giant spider guy or a giant book with eyes or some such goofy thing. Thanks for the list

giga is pretty stellar, I like the giant ones too and for some reason the ones where they just get the crap beat out of them, I guess its because you don't expect it to go that bad for the heroine then all of a sudden "snap" there goes an arm bone,,,crazy stuff, I have to admit I hate it when they get bloody though, just a little to real for me,
the villains make it classic though, its like watching power ranger porn or they seem to hit the mark with trying to look like live action hentai
giga is awesome though to bad they don't have a bigger foot print in the states, but we would just f-it up for them and put all these restrictions on them, good to leave well enough alone and just stream it :P

Yep, I love the brutality of some of their videos and the inclusion of real (not simulated) sex. I love the fact that Giga regularly includes a spot of blood or a bruise mark -- I guess I'm in the minority of fans who enjoys seeing "realism" creep into these videos to contrast against the "camp" of the comic book genre. Although, to be fair, mainstream comic books can be incredibly gory. I seem to remember a Marvel comic where the Blob had ripped the Wasp in half and was eating her entrails -- and that was a comic that kid, in theory, could have read. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't enjoy that level of gore in Giga or any other video, but I do appreciate a few signs of wear and tear on the heroine, while still maintaining her beauty.

With that said, I agree with what someone else wrote that Giga can be hit or miss. Plus their videos are expensive, so I don't buy as many as I'd like. I think my favorites are Superheroine Domination 6 in which a Supergirl character is riddled with kryptonite arrows and beaten to death (or so it seems - stay for the credits). My second favorite is probably Heroine Killer - Thorough Suppression just for the no-nonsense, in-your-face brutality. It pushed the envelope for me by having the heroine's limbs broken -- can't imagine a more shocking way to demonstrate that she's not as invulnerable as she thinks. Finally, I love X-Woman, especially near the end when the big dude is totally manhandling the heroine, throwing her around with wrestling moves like piledrivers and bodyslams. I wish we could see a heroine in American videos being tossed around like that, rather than the vanilla OTS carry.

Interestingly, my favorites don't contain any sex, per se -- although there is nudity.
