The cast of Superman: Legacy (2025) has been announced.
And one of the most pleasant surprises has been the re-gingerfication of Jimmy Olsen.
Most people are saying that James Gunn's castings have been spot-on. Varied character lineup, too!

Right, and as far as the heroines....
Hot 22-yr-old Isabel Merced will do what few actors have been able to do: star in DC and Marvel projects almost simultaneously.
Next year's Madame Web will feature her as Aranya/Anya Corazon, and she'll be Hawkgirl for the DCU shortly after that.
If her costumes are tight in both, this could get very interesting.
As for Maria de Faria, she is gorgeous too.
Angela Spica (Engineer) is supposed to be from Queens (and hence, her last name is definitely Italian) but de Faria's brooding Mediterranean looks are perfect for this role, and she'll be in silver/CGI spandex costume for much of it anyway, probably. It's strange that she's being billed as "villain" and I hope that's not the case. Even her nanotech powers are little match for a Kryptonian.
