Pertaining to the genre of Super Heroines in Peril, who were your earlier influences and who still inspires you?

My first real exposure to the genre was the Wonder Woman television show. But really the first super heroine in peril story I ever read was Mr. X's five part "The Domination of Wonder Woman". I found it browsing through Archie (or maybe it was Veronica). I remember feeling so naughty printing out parts of the story on green-bar paper and quickly rushing to the line printer so that no one would read what I had sent. Hehe. That story inspired me to want to write in the genre years later. I still read the story when I want to be inspired.

Other than that, now that I've dived into the exciting world of webmastering, I would definitely include The Wizard and Scarlet (of The Wizard's Lair) in my list of influences today.

So how about you? What inspired you and keeps you doing what you do (assuming you are in the genre at all)?

Well, you never forget your first time, do you? :shifty:

For me it was actually super *heroes* in peril that got me hooked into the genre - a certain Dynamic Duo from back in the 60s. I remember watching the old Batman show and being particularly enamored of the cliffhangers and deathtraps the pair would find themselves caught in. Some of the episodes are particular favorites like when the Minstrel has Batman and Robin tied up on a rotating spit, the Joker tricks them with a vending machine complete with leg shackles and knockout gas, or the infamous Catwoman Echo Chamber where they're pounded into submission by wave after wave of crushing sound. It was such a turn-on watching the two of them struggle, and as hot as it was, I always wanted to see women deal with the same thing.

I got my wish with the short-lived Electra Woman and Dyna Girl show. Although the death traps weren't as prevalent, there were still great moments like Glitter Rock hypnotizing the pair to climb a ladder to jump to their doom, or the Empress of Evil stretching their bodies (I remember being particularly turned on during that scene as one of the pair lets out a near orgasmic moan while it's happening to them!).

Of course there was Wonder Woman and Wonder Girl as well, with some of the best chloroforming/knockout scenes in the business (particularly poor Drusilla/WG...seems like she was always getting KO'd).

That triad, plus seeing it happen in the numerous comics I read, pretty much set the stage for the fetish I enjoy.

My earliest contact was with the animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. The show basically consists of muscular dudes in revealing outfits running around and whacking each other with all the dry one-liners and campiness you would expect from an 80's series. What really stuck to my mind where the combat scenes. For some reason, the images of tense muscles and bodies straining against each other had a strong impact on me. At about the same time, I discovered Captain Planet and the Planeteers, and I was fascinated by the way Captain Planet could be rendered helpless by exposure to pollution (I remember he had some kind of evil mirror image, and just his presence was enough to weaken Captain Planet, which i found mind boggling).

Though I've had a brief Wonder Woman fetish as a child, everything died out completely by early adolescence and resurfaced about a decade ago. My first attempts at writting peril stories (quite terrible ones, I should add :smart: ) date from around the same time. I've tried many things over time, but surprisingly enough, what I've recently discovered is that my mind enjoys the most a setting similiar to He-Man, with the notable difference that this time there are only women in skimpy outfits, running around and doing terrible things to one another, with the main superheroine having a costume similar in design to the one of Captain Planet.

I have no idea as to how or why my mind warped things in this way, but as I've stated before, I'm glad it happened. I'm still not satisfied with my writting, and right now I devote as much of my spare time as possible to writting an awesome adventure involving this superheroine.

Batgirl from the 1966 series....my first trip to Dragoncon when I was 16, and the O-Girl series.
The purple spandex costume with the lezdom overtones in Catwoman with Batgirl on the pattern cutter and O-girl being put in a strict hogtie in trapped in time series. WOW...that did it for me! (and a big dose of bondage porn I found on my older step brothers laptop...lol) As a 24 year old woman now its thrilling to have this secret fetish!

For me it was the original Batman series. At first glance I was taken by Batgirl being knocked out and being placed in deadly traps. I've been a fan of women in tight shiny outfits lured into traps. I like the story as well I want to know how they were trapped (gas, dart, net etc.) and then the trap intself and finally the escape and eventual triumph.

Ooops sorry about that ;)

I had the itch for many years. Things like Gravity Girl being wrapped up in a cocoon or Teela on Heman being tied up or Invisible Girl on the old Fantastic 4 show. One huge influence was Blunder Broad from Eric Stanton.

Supergirl comics...then the Black Scorpion TV series. After that it was a combo of Punished Heroines and SHC, back when they were good.

Two things for me. First was a crappy movie released in 1997 with a very sexy Batgirl and Poison Ivy character. But I really got in to the superheroine genre watching Paris Kennedy as Wonder Woman in internet videos years ago.

I think I was always kind've aware of it to a certain extent. But what probably really solidified it for me and brought superheroines to the forefront was Yvonne Craig as Batgirl on the old Batman TV series from the 60s.

I think my fetish can first be traced back to when I was child and watching the old Christopher Reeve Superman films. I feel kind of ashamed to admit this, but as a kid I always got a strange erection when seeing Superman end up in some kind of peril. I still remember it vividly, but at the time I never knew what to make of it. The kryptonite weakening scene from Part 1 and the Nuclear Man fight scenes from Part 4 are what really fascinated me.

Later on, I got into the Clint Eastwood Man with No Name trilogy and also got a strange fascination during the torture scene in Fistful of Dollars when he is savagely beaten by the Rojo Gang. This particular scene really stuck with me and is what made me realize that I had a thing for seeing a hero I worshiped and looked up too get beaten up or fall into peril.

Since I fancied women this strange fascination later turned into me fantasizing about female heroes falling into similar situations. I would fantasize about many different scenarios but never really discovered the online superheroine peril genre until early 2007 when I became curious and googled it.

I think the first videos I uncovered were Rye's old Punished Heroines with Paris Kennedy, New Phoneix Filmwork's Black Talon, and several of Superheroine Central Videos.

Probably the 1,000,000 to say it but 60's batman was a start. I always wished Robin was a girl. Would have been great to see a hot chick in that exact outfit bound and in trouble. I was partially rewarded when I caught my first glances of Bat Girl bound but unfortunately it didn't happen nearly enough.

At a very early age I remember getting "excited" at the sight of a female heroine (super or otherwise) tied up and being lowered to her doom, or experimented on, or about to be transformed to evil somehow. I just had to settle for the few movies I could find those scene in them at the local library.

I also remember getting equally excited seeing woman in pantyhose/leggings/stockings/tights. So when the internet boom of the mid 90's hit, I started doing searches for (at the time pictures) of women in pantyhose and tied up. Eventually it led me to a sight of a girl dressed as bat girl tied up with a bomb about to go off near her. This got me REALLY "exited". I started doing more searches of Super Heroines bound or in peril and that led me to Sooperhero.com and Super heroines demise and a bunch of others!

Now there are more sites than I could have ever hoped of back in 96/97 and I check this site multiple times a day waiting to hear that the PERFECT video is about to be released. Who knows. Maybe I'll grow a pair and try to create that perfect video myself one day!

Seeing WonderWoman chained in front of the sexy Barroness von Gunther was #1, when I was about 7. Then it was watching Madame Selena toy with Supergirl in the 1984 movie. The real thrill for me is watching sexy bad girl villainess types enjoying themselves at the expense of hapless Superheroines.

I never really saw the old Batman TV show to be honest.

The 1997 Batman movie and a couple of TV shows did it for me. The scene in the Batman movie where Bane and Ivy toy with Batman was always hot to me for some reason. Then there was the Batgirl/Ivy fight. The Inque character in the Batman Beyond series always turns me on the way she throws Batman around and the implied sexual peril there.

Once I discovered the internet and the Paris Kennedy Wonder Woman videos, it was over and I've been hooked ever since.

(The attached image was the scene that made me love watching heroes in peril)

As an adult, stumbling on to superheroine central did it for me. Specifically , Ultra Woman. Seeing her defeated, unmasked, and topless was too much to bear. I could not get enough of her and could not wait until she dropped those red panties. Finally, after about a year, she did in Ultra Woman's Shame and it was worth the wait. Seeing her defeated and violated, the shamed after enjoying it was the Zenith of Superheroine Central. Sad to hear that site is in a shambles these days.

As a youngster discovering peril in comics, especally WW and Superman. Then it developed into the usual: , watching Lynda Carter, Yvonne Craig, the old Superman TV show and Emma Peel in Avengers. Then later on the internet popped up and so did the likes of Spellbinder etc.
Where would we be without the net?

Yup Wonder Woman comics. When I was in junior high they published the Death of Artemis and it was so visceral and so visually engaging.

After reading DC and marvel comics,I began to become interested in seeing superheroines get dominated physically and fatally through out the 70s,80s,90s,and 2000s. Especially after seeing others such as Batgirl,Wonder Woman,Wonder Girl,Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, etc. end up in trouble on television. Hell,Lois lane is no superheroine but she always end up in trouble anyway. As soon as I beacame interested in superheroines in danger,I ended up falling in love with the ones when they're de-booted in their shiny or opaque sheer to waist pantyhose with the supervillainesses also in shiny sheer to waist pantyhose. Take The Return of Harem Girl or The Arrival of Electra Star for example. Those were the superheroine in peril video clips I fell in love with. Especially with them in their pantyhosed feet along with certain supervillainesses. In fact,The Return of Harem Girl became the very first one that I saw first on Daily Motion before I ordered it for my own amusement and enjoyment as well. If the WWE had a special program like that for adults only,I'll be very glad to watch that. Anyway,I've been thinking about writing a script about shiny sheer to waist pantyhosed footed superheriones getting dominated physically and fatally by bigger and stronger pantyhosed footed supervillainesses in wrestling matches where there's no ring,no rules,no ref,no holds barred.

Greetings to all you brave heroines and fellow villains! I am new to this forum, and this thread seems like a good place to start. I've enjoyed reading how others developed such similar special interests as mine.

My own particular thing for heroines-in-peril began c. 1969 with the Hanna-Barbera cartoon Penelope Pitstop, and about the same time, Yvonne "Batgirl" Craig did the same for me as for so many of you. Also just about the same time, I started reading Supergirl comics when she was losing her powers and getting into lots of perilous situations. And then just few years later ... Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman, and Drusilla, captured and bound ... damn that was hot! My descent into more active super-lechery began about 1992 when I started finding dirty fan fiction on the old alt.sex.stories newsgroups. Strangely enough, I only recently stumbled into the world of superheroine videos ... what a revelation!

If anybody wants a longer version of this answer, I have a "secret" blog about this stuff ... not really a secret, only just meant for my own amusement and one or two friends, but anybody who's curious is welcome to have a look at ... http://chamber-of-peril.weebly.com

Best regards to you all,
~D

For me it was watching the 1984 Supergirl movie.

There was one scene that did it. When Supergirl was trapped in the Phantom Zone, powerless. She stumbles and falls into a gooey tar pit, totally sliming up her sexy costume. Then seeing Zaltar pull her out limp, unconscious and humiliated. In the matter of 5 minutes Supergirl turned from a proud confident heroine into a crying dirty mess. I think this where I found my fetish for both superheroines as well as WAM / messy material.

I always wondered how Supergirl's costume got clean in the next scene. I had fantasies about me being in Zaltar's shoes and being able to wipe the slime off her filthy costume while she was lying there unconscious. I've also had fantasies about Supergirl trying to go through the rest of the movie in her slime-stained costume. Every time she would try to strike a heroic pose, she'd be humiliated by how filthy she is and how she's ruined her symbol of pride (her costume). Nobody would be able to take her seriously any more.

it all started with the 1960s batman series... I would love how the villains would use sleeping gas to make he and robin helpless. I myself would steal my sisters tights to make my costume so I could be captured in it and tied up. Later on it became electrawoman and dyna girl with those pink and yellow tights although they were not knocked out enough then came linda carter and that made my hormones rage. finally the genre is on the internet... and I cant get enough

Any instance where a superheroine, and occasionally a superhero (if he's submitting to a woman) is weakened in some way. The more then mention it "ugh....so.....weak" the more of a turn on it is. It's an added bonus if they're humiliated around civilians, girlfriends, boyfriends, etc.

Ok I have some very odd memory instances for my initiation.

One of the earliest that comes to mind was a 1984 tv show called 'Photon' which was a sci-fi action show basically about laser tag filmed entirely on greenscreen often superimposing the heroes on moon-like surfaces and battling aliens. One of the 'guardians' was a heroine. They all wore these chest-packs like in the laser tag game sold at the time and if you were hit by the laser you would evaporate. There was one episode where the villain used each of the guardian's fears against them. The heroine was usually very tough and cocky, kind of a tom-boy. But she was completely humbled by fear when the villain used her secret fear of heights and placed her high atop a tall pillar of rock.

The other was playing ms pac-man. As funny as this sounds. The arcade art was overly sexualized and the peril in the game was all these hungry ghosts chasing her around to gobble her up and I couldn't help but get oddly turned on by that.

Somehow I managed to watch the 1966 Batman series religiously and never sensed anything sexy about it, perhaps because I was too young (I didn't figure out that Batgirl was supposed to be hot until much later). My earliest recollection of a peril scene that struck a nerve was near the end of an episode of the 1950s Superman series, "Crime Wave." The bad guys lure our hero into an odd-looking room. The doors slide shut and Supes can't seem to break out for some reason.
01.jpg
01.jpg (19.8 KiB) Viewed 20689 times
The bad guys then flood the room with electricity (a lengthy sequence in which the lightning bolts are not nearly as convincing as the music and sound effects) and George Reeves really sells his death scene.
02.jpg

Well, that completely floored me. The mighty Superman knocked out and pronounced dead by the bad guys.

Of course, he was only fooling them, to lure the Head Bad Guy out of hiding. He promptly gets up off the floor ("Stupid fools! He tricked you!"), lectures them ("I'm amazed that any of you thought that display of fireworks bothered me. Or that I couldn't get out of this room if I wanted to," says Supes, putting a fist through a door to demonstrate), and then mops the floor with them, destroying their machine.

Image

In other words, he goes from a dom to a sub and then back to a dom again in the space of a few minutes. Incidentally, it's a well-staged couple of sequences (especially the slow, tension-filled build-up) that would be quite easily replicable by any modern superheroine producer with a modest budget. Hint, hint. See the whole thing on youtube or dailymotion.

But the real turning point for me was the famous chloroform scene in the Fausta episode of Wonder Woman, a similar kind of dom-one-minute-and-sub-the-next routine. That's when the concept went from nerve-racking to powerfully sexy.

Well it started with the Batman TV show reruns. Maybe 4th grade. But at the time I was thinking it would be better if there were some women involved and my ultimate favorite scene from Batman was when he knocked Catwoman out after pretending to be under her spell.

At the same time, I was also hooked on the Legion Of Superheroes. I liked Batgirl, Supergirl, etc, but the idea of having multiple superheroines each with their own strengths, and with weaknesses that could be exploited, it was a little more appealing to me. So that cemented my love for superheroines.

Then, Electra Woman and Dyna Girl came out about 5 years later and that was a huge catalyst. The scene where Dyna Girl is turned evil and knocks out Electra Woman (Dammit, Frank, get out of the way!), that was my favorite of the show, at the time.

So from all that and then Wonder Woman, of course, it just grew in my mind. I always wanted to do a superheroine movie, but all we had at the time was super 8. Then when VHS cams came out, they were way too expensive.

Fast forward to the 90's when the first affordable "first generation" capture card became available. It was made by a company called Reveal and I believe it cost about $300. From that point on, I was off to the races, as they say.

Does anybody remember the cartoon Space Ace? Basically it was a musclebound hero trying to save a space princess named Kimberly, but he would occasionally turn into this puny weakling? Even at a really young age I remember thinking about how hot it was that one moment he was in charge and the next he was scrawny and helpless and yelling "Kimmiiiiiiiiieeee!" while she went from wearing the skirt to wearing the pants.

Hehe. I remember the Space-Ace Laserdisc game. That and "Dragon's Lair" always frustrated me, because I was never coordinated enough with right, left, up, and shoot gun/swing sword sequence. When I think about it though, my friends and I probably spent way too many quarters in those game machines for such a short adventure. I miss the arcades though. It was always a fun destination at the mall.

As this seems to be the nearest thing to an 'introduce yourself' thread on this forum, as another newbie I thought I'd start out here too!

I guess like many people here, the super heroine obsession started for me with the Lynda Carter Wonder Woman show when I was really young, whilst I can't remember any particular episodes from back then in any real detail (although I can appreciate them now!), to my young eyes she was the most beautiful woman in existence. The peril thing didn't start though until a few years later though, and not with a super heroine, but with Princess Leia when she was wearing her slave bikini as Jabba the Hutt's captive in Return of the Jedi. I found the idea of the strong heroine being half-naked, stripped of her dignity and becoming helpless captive of a gross villain a massive turn on (even though I really didn't know what a 'turn on' was at that time!).

The super heroine obsession and the peril fascination combined a few years later when I got into Marvel and DC comics, and was more aware of what a villain might do once he had captured a heroine!

The one story that kicked it all off was an old comic where Batman teamed up with Black Canary and Canary was captured by the Penguin and stripped down to her bra and panties and tied to a chair. Man, that image was just the greatest thing ever as far as I was concerned! I can't even remember which comic it was in, I think it may have been an old 1970s issue of Brave and the Bold- does this sound familiar to anyone out there? I'd love to track it down again. Over at Marvel I was drooling over the issue of Alpha Flight where Aurora gets captured by Golden Lily. Wearing only a pink bikini she was bound at her wrists and suspended above a machine that when she was dropped into it, would turn her into solid gold. I so wanted her to get dropped in there and be this sexy gold immobile statue, unable to escape (but bloody Sasquatch had to go and save her!). I also got really aroused by an issue of New Mutants where Magik was defeated by the demons in Limbo and sold as a slave. And don't get me started on the first Genosha storyline in X-Men where Rogue was captured and lost her powers, and had 'liberties taken' with her by the prison camp guards. I nearly went crazy with the idea of a powerless Rogue submitting to all kinds of perverted desires at her jailers hands!

The only problem I had was that there was nothing out there in the 'real world' that tied in (like the pun?) with these fantasies. As a teen, girls in the real world just seemed really boring to me in comparison to all the heroines I fantasised about. Then one day someone introduced me to a bunch of girls he knew...they were Goths, and my eyes fell out of their sockets! There they were all dressed in tight fitting clothes of either spandex type material or PVC with muti-coloured hair. One was even wearing fishnet stockings like my beloved Black Canary! Growing up in a suburban hole I had no idea that there were real women that went around looking like this! Suddenly I realised that their were exciting young ladies out there in the world after all. So they weren't exactly super heroines and more into horror movies (which I liked too) than super heroes, but they were the nearest real world equivalent. So after that I pretty much got heavily into the Goth scene which led onto the fetish scene. Luckily for me, with the coming of cybergoths in recent years the look in that scene has become more like that of manga characters.

Yet still there were no real world super heroines out there who could recreate the fantasy captures from the comic books, sure at comic conventions the whole cosplay thing was taking off, but that's a different environment to the Torture Garden fetish club! I'd also read and written some erotic sci fi/heroine fiction by this point, which appeared on some now long dead websites. I was interested in the Vivid Super hero porn parodies, but as cool as they were with getting the super heroine costumes right, they were just standard porn movies with no peril. So there I was, searching for info on the Wonder Woman XXX movie when Google led me to this forum and my jaw dropped open! It was like finding a whole new world! I've been lurking here since Christmas and I'm still finding out more. You guys and girls have made me realise I'm not the only one into this – I salute you all!

And I realise I've just written a mini essay about all this – sorry!

Michelle Pfeiffer, Catwoman in Batman returns. Seeing Batman unable/unwilling to physically fight a villain, so she is able to literally walk all over him. With her domination over him she doesn't want to destroy him, she is going to manipulate him and the public to make him into a villain like her.
The climatic scene, her trap of letting the police shot him off the roof physically incapacitating him in a way she couldn't. Mounting him and he doesn't even try to resist. Batman draws her attention to the mistletoe, it's like he wants her (begging her) to kiss him, she leans in, she is going to give him what he wants but licks him instead. He's so desperate for her he licks his lips to get a taste of her. Then, having him right where she wants him, she could strangle him while he's vulnerable (her arms crossed over his chest). Instead she lets him go, to continue the game.

madamemystery wrote:The one story that kicked it all off was an old comic where Batman teamed up with Black Canary and Canary was captured by the Penguin and stripped down to her bra and panties and tied to a chair. Man, that image was just the greatest thing ever as far as I was concerned! I can't even remember which comic it was in, I think it may have been an old 1970s issue of Brave and the Bold- does this sound familiar to anyone out there? I'd love to track it down again.
I had that one as a kid! I really didn't buy many comic books, but bought that without knowing the contents, and remember being really into it. I have no idea what happened to it - perhaps my mom tossed it when I wasn't looking.

That's funny because I think I will be the minority here again, lol ^^
I was far too young (or even not born) to appreciate tv shows like 60's Batman, Wonder Woman or 84 Supergirl...
Well, it started for me with the 90's comic books. I remember Sabertooth defeating Psylocke in 1996 (in Uncanny X-Men #326). I loved also the Artemis arc in Wonder Woman and Gen13 by Jim Lee. At the same time, I also loved to play VS Fighting video games like Street Fighter II or Mortal Kombat (There was a lot of peril in these games, and the female characters were often very hot).

Also, because I began to like Superheroines in 90's comic books instead of 60's tv shows, I think this can explain why I don't really like pantyhose or low-cut costume (after all, there are almost never pantyhoses in comic books, lol). I definitely prefer the 90's fashion :D

As a child I definitely got hooked on the 1960's Batman TV series re-runs and others like Wonder Woman and such, but as I got older I got into the more conventional BDSM aspects of the lifestyle. I began writing stories after some responses to my emails with some online acquaintances. I found I really enjoyed writing stories and well Super Heroine in peril is a natural fit for My writing it seems.

For me I guess everything was bubbling away in the background until I understood what I was. My BDSM awakening was in my late teens with Ornella Muti in the 80s film Flash Gordon and of course this carried with it the beloved spandex fetish that came with that scene. Equally there was at around the same time the unrivaled Erin Gray as Col. Wilma Deering from the show Buck Rogers - never enough peril for her BUT still a very amazing strong character and more Spandex than you could ever want !

This of course led me more specifically towards Superheroines, though I must confess as a straight adult male that as an early teen I found the whole Superman I / Lex Luthor kryptonite scene "confusing". The way Ive resolved that confusion is by concluding that the concept was exciting (the dis-empowerment of a strong character by a physically weaker one) but felt "wrong" because of the M/M nature of the scene.

Another source of excitement for me bubbling in the background were the cartoons aired around my mid teens. I think one character was Firestar (Spiderman and Friends ?) where she was captured in a cell which somehow inverted her powers, she needed heat but was firing ice instead of fire which only served to weaken her further. Another cartoon was Spiderwoman and in one episode she in de-powered so she was unable to transform, THAT was a very powerful episode for me. I don't know if people are familiar with the G-Force cartoons but that too had an episode where the villains manage to prevent the hero(ine)s from transforming into the superhero alter-egos. Im sure when the X-Men cartoons originally came out there was some female peril but I don't recall any of it oddly enough.

And of course, Miss Slater. Oh the movie was bad, but that scene where she falls into the trap and is expelled to the Phantom Zone oh my. If YouTube was a stack of VHS cassettes I'm sure we would all have collectively burned a hole through the tape slo-mowing through her moments of peril. I particularly love some peril-fan edits where Wicked Witch Faye Dunaway is more active during SG's moments in the Phantom Zone.

I dont know why but I missed out on the BatGirl stuff from the 60s series and its only now that I can actually appreciate it.

What got me started? My first exposure to color TV and superheroes coincided with my first exposure to the Batman '66 TV show and Batgirl trapped and in peril. I was four years old and in the care of relatives while my parents were out of town. Someone plunked me down in front of the TV for a couple of hours every afternoon, and I watched Underdog, then Batman (including at least two of the three Lundinium stories), then... Simba the White Lion or something. Underdog sort of confused me. Batman fascinated me in ways I couldn't understand at that age. Barbara Gordon and Batgirl were identification characters for me. I barely understood gender differentiation at that point, apparently. I identified with Barbara's secret life and Batgirl's struggles. I suspect one could, you know, psychoanalyze my Batgirl fixation in childhood and adulthood and... come up with some things. Considering the age at which I was impacted by all of this, how it impacted me, and how that impact has affected me as an adult. Even looking at it only superficially, I seem to have been a rather... odd kid.

My childhood imaginative life was shaped by that experience, and through age seven I identified very strongly with superheroine characters. I pored over Batman Family, Wonder Woman, and Justice League comics long before I could read them, always most interested in the superheroines. I watched the Batman Filmation cartoons religiously, always waiting for Batgirl to appear. I watched Wonder Woman too, but found that harder to follow at that age. I had a bunch of the Mego dolls, and I suspect my parents were dismayed that I was most interested in the female characters. You could take the clothes off of those things, you know. The female Mego toys and my Wonder Woman comics mysteriously disappeared at one point. There was a strange pre-sexual sense of sexiness there. I developed an elaborate range of characters during those years, who still show up in my questionable SHIB art. Those characters and related themes remained in my imaginary life until puberty, which transition tends to change things, I guess. By that point superheroines weren't really on TV any longer and Batgirl appearances in comics were hard to find. Other things distracted me and eventually I forgot all about the whole thing.

Ten years later, I was trying to be a Serious Painter. My main interest was Surrealism, and with that in mind I began to dig deeply into my own unconscious ideas and associations. One day that digging dredged up a vague memory of Batman Family #10, and then the whole strange childhood SHIB mythos I had developed came out. Fascinated, I explored the material, which eventually took over my creative output. I dug deeper, hoping that I would reach some breakthrough and the material would lose its stranglehold on my creativity. I wanted to get back to trying to be a Serious Artist. I've since learned that it doesn't work that way. An obsession is an obsession, and you can't weaken such a thing either by ignoring it or by exploring it. I don't fight against the whole thing any longer, but tend instead to use the SHIB creativity as a starting point which leads to other things. I guess the SHIB thing for me is a deeply personal, creative and imaginative thing. There's a fetish level, but it also breaks down to a bunch of symbolic meanings. So I've got that going on.

And... sort of feels like somewhere in there it became Too Much Information. Umm.

Diana Rigg, The Batman TV Show, Land of the Giants and any show with a woman in leotards (exercise or in a series). On the latter part, I would fantasize scenarios with them.

For reasons I don't really understand I was into superhero peril before I was even really sexualized. As a kid I loved the old 60s Batman and got a little fixated on the outfits and the peril from that show. Then puberty hit, I got into girls, and I left the whole hero thing behind for a long, long time.

Flash forward to my 20s, when I found a relatively innocent site, Sleeperkidsworld.com, where some of the girls' wrestling matches were in Superheroine outfits. It all came crashing back. Tunneling into that led me to some naughty, naughty places. First, I remember finding a preview for a Paris Kennedy video where she gets raped on a couch in a Supergirl outfit. I remember being shocked at first, then shocked at how turned on I got. Shortly thereafter I found the original Agent Eve. http://clips4sale.com/studio/54867/7782 ... isodes-1-3

Suffice to say, I was messed up for life. But I wouldn't dare go back.

For me, it was Sheen Queen of the Jungle, I was about 12, and here was this BEAUTIFUL woman, clad in skimpy animal skins who could commune with animals AND become one.

In one Episode they trapped Sheena in her Lioness form, and HUNTED her, actually "Darting" her and putting her in a cage, and I fund that SO...COOL and rousing...

Later I came cross a book series by an Author called Jack Chalker. The series was "Midnight at the well of souls" and expanded on this
