Re: Was Batgirl/Yvonne Craig in the show horny or erected?
First, when looking at some of the long shots, Batgirl's overall figure doesn't always look like Craig's figure as seen in the closeups. I suspect that some of the long shots were actually stand-in's or stunt doubles, which would have an impact on how the costumes fit. This is an interesting observ...

To aid in comparison of resolution in the images, here are some grabs from the same scenes in Catwoman's Dressed to Kill. The background, particularly, shows how much better the DVD-quality images are.

Re: Was Batgirl/Yvonne Craig in the show horny or erected?
AFAIK, the Batman episodes shown on ITV4 HD are just upscaled to 1080i. The same goes for a lot of that channel's content such as The Saint and The New Avengers. The Prisoner was one of the few classic shows to be shown in a new HD version. I wonder if 35mm prints of the Batman episodes still exist...

Being a solitary individual with nothing better to do on a Saturday night  , I've fired up VirtualDub and gone through some scenes frame-by-frame, grabbing images of how the Batgirl suit fits. It looks like it is fairly tight, but also loose enough to allow freedom of motion. The crotch bunc...

It is facinating. On some Scenes it is loose between her legs and in other it is very Close, that you can see the cameltoe. Like by Batman and Robin. On many Scenes it is flat in their Pants, but in other Scene you see her hard buldge. I think a lot of it probably depends on how her pose is pulling...

Re: Was Batgirl/Yvonne Craig in the show horny or erected?
From what I have read about Craig she had no real interest in the show nor any apparent overt sexuality in anything she did. She did her parts, she did them well and to her it was apparently just a job. "Oh, Adam, grow up!" she claims to have told the star of the show, on occasion. :laugh...

A couple of example images, taken from what is supposedly the best available video quality version of the show on DVD. Re: Was Batgirl/Yvonne Craig in the show horny or erected?
Yvonne has pointed out herself that she wore one of those sixties pointy bras, during the run of the show. You can see that her bosom shape is heavily modified by some kind of architectural support. Those pointy bras would make it very hard for nipples, however erect they might be, to show up at all...

A world in which the Batman TV show of 1966 had never happened would be a different world in various ways, although most of them might be comparatively small. Some have speculated that if the show had never happened, the Batman comic would likely have been canceled. Without the sales boost, DC Comic...

Re: The costume of the 60`s Dynamic Duo: Sexy or campy?
Funny you should mention Doctor Who as the concept of “something for the dads” was very much at the heart of many of the casting and wardrobe decisions on that show. Of course, while the actresses playing Zoe, Jo and Leela probably knew they looked sexy as Hell in their skimpy outfits, I doubt all ...

Re: The costume of the 60`s Dynamic Duo: Sexy or campy?
I think the costumes, and the show itself, were sexy in a tongue-in-cheek kind of way. Kids could watch it to see the Dynamic Duo in action, but to keep the adults watching, you needed something to appeal to them. I suppose Julie Newmar sort of started... a whole big thing in the culture. I...

Re: The costume of the 60`s Dynamic Duo: Sexy or campy?
I don't personally see anything camp in the costume work from Batman '66. If you look at the Batman comics which served as source material, the costumes seen on screen look like fairly accurate recreations. The characters in the comics may not have been intended to look quite as flashy. The on-scree...

Re: Why is the patterncutter so hot dicussed in the batscene
Resting the flower on her is a nice touch. I love it when villains do something like that to a bound hero/ine to show that they can - and there's nothing the good guy (or gal) can do about it. So it's more of a character point than a plot point? An unnecessary flourish, with which Catwoman shows us...

Probably not such a strong scene for Batgirl, as a character, ultimately. Generally, I prefer the hero to operate in the old mode of actual hero, rather than anti-hero. So I voted for POP, but I also think a character should be able to be flexible, to a certain extent. Given an ethical or moral dilemma, they should favor the side of purity, but shouldn't be absolutely rig...

Does V4 use body magnets in lieu of JCMs? What you're reporting here may be related to a general V4 error with bad thigh bending which has upset a number of users. Deep thigh bends aren't resulting in the same shape as in other versions of Poser, causing incompatibility with some conforming clothes.

It's a tough call, but between the 60s Batgirl and Wonder Woman costumes, I gotta go with Batgirl. Tight clothing on (mostly) fit bodies. Shiny surfaces. Bright colors, larger-than-life situations. Cartoons and comics do this inherently, and the show was trying to capture part of that, argu...
